OK. here's Ozzie just got to the board! Boy, the things that happen while you're out!

Y'know what Rachel, looking back it beats me why we allow the "elders" the due consideration you and Steve are giving. Yeah, I know, Mrs Ozzie and I fell for the same thing, so I can't crow can I? But it still amazes me that we're so compliant with them.

There's no doubt in my mind that they serve one of the most evil, wicked, spiteful, hateful organisations that exist today. Yet we still are so agreeable to them. And they do what we used to do...well, mostly!

Here in New South Wales, I heard a report today of two HLC members giving an address to nursing staff last week at a large Sydney hospital. The things they said were the usual generalisations, condemnations, boastings. You know the drill. It turns out they announced that they had assigned three HLC members to the one hospital to be there for each JW who's admitted! Just to help of course! Like hell! It's because they know that so many dubs in Sydney have been secretly taking blood transfusions after getting the doctors to make sure it was done "in secret".

I digress. After our experience that we've told you about, there's no way I'd be so agreeable.

OK, so it makes me angry. Best of luck anyway. Let's know what transpires, eh?

    Cheers, Ozzie

I say when they come over, hand one of them an extension cord and ask him would he mind just plugging that in over yonder....and have it light up the whole damn HOUSE. :) Might be the only time in his life he will ever do that.

i agree, i know when we first left before we moved , they would call and want to come over, well Lady "C" and I had a standard answer, Now is a bad time, leave your number and I WILL CALL YOU-

yea like He!!- we decided to play a game of WASTING THIER TIME- they would drive all the way over and stop by BAD TIME, BUT THANKS FOR COMING - i'M ON A CONFERENCE CALL TO LA -

and thank them for thier time and close the door, they used to get so pissed off

one former bethel buddy said DON'T YOU HAVE TIME FOR JAH,- I said Of course I do, I just unfortunately don't have time for you guys right now-- PISSED OFF as they walk away

    we loved it

    JT,

Yes, but I've read lately on this board that the "Now is a bad time" answer will not work any more. They DA you for refusing to meet with them when they call the first time.

    Yes and No

Take care of a sick family member or friend. When you think about it there is Alway someone who is sick and on the ver. of death in a family or a friend for that matter. Those people need your help and you just tell them that its not a good time and why.I wonder what a Judge would think or say "You kicked them out because they were taking care of so & so who was very sick".Tell the truth and you can't go wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is just an idea - could you tell me why this wouldn't work ?

Tell them that you still consider yourself one of jws, but your husband, who you Must obey, isn't. Indeed your husband forbids you to attend meetings and go door to door while he is alive - he requires your company and you have to obey.

The christmas stuff / celebrations and all that stuff are part of his requirements, not yours, but you have to be his good wife - he will allow you to consider yourself a jw and practice christian behaviours / living at home and in your community - he doesn't require you to do any "abnormal" sexual things, but just be a good wife.

And so you are, and obey your husband - it's a shame you can't come to meetings etc. but you are a wife who does as God directs and obeys her husband.

    How does that sound ?

Please tell me this elders not related to who I think he is????

AHhhh well won't this be fun, yes do tape it that'd be great ohhhh soo great!!!! Hey you could act like one of you has a hearing problem so you'd have to do sign language everytime they said anything or asked any question. Then they'd have to sign back ahahha it'd take forever to get anywhere in the conversation ahahah that'd be sooo fun!!!

At the KH bring a ton of exjws and others from the area and have them dispersed throughout the hall, then when they make the announcement applaud and sing and make a big scene hahaha and make sure to video that as well. Sit in the front with the video cam when they make the announcement, and watch them squirm hahahah ohhhh man this is too much fun
