Rockmangames, you missed the meeting about "new light" concerning holidays. Former Jehovah's Witnesses are permitted to celebrate, greet each other with joy, and display other forms of merriment without fear of Jehovah's wrath. This may be confusing for those who are trying to get baptized IN to the Jehovah's Witness faith, but you should not concern yourself with this odd behaviour.

You are really sweet, Rockmangames. I do hope you keep up with your studies both at home and here, too.

Rockman, I can only say one thing: a lot of people on this site feel sad, even angry that they wasted their life away in that organisation. And yet so many other people's minds are blinded and closed they cannot escape. Some simply don't want to see, but you have a choice.

I know there is celebration in cleansed way to cheers and joy in jehovah's eyes instead of fear wrath. I am talking about false celebration like Birthday, Xmas, Easter and something like that that are against Jah..dont you agree ?

Thats why I saw it here on list of forums in JW FORUM and its concerned me and confused me thats all ^_^

We are celebrating something in cleansed like Thanksgiving to thanks Jah but for daily thanksful food to JAH everyday anyway..but something like that to celebrated like Birthday, Xmas, and something that are wrong. Right ??

Rockman, there is a difference between biblical and doctrinal. It is the doctrine of the Watchower Society that birthdays are evil and bad, because beheadings happen there. Not everybody holds to that doctrine. Job, who was a man approved of Jehovah, allowed his sons to celebrate their birthdays. This is in the bible.

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and turned away from evil. And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters. His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she-asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the children of the east. And his sons went and held a feast in the house of each one upon his day; and they sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink with them. Job 1:1-4

I have a question. How long have you been studying with the borg?... whoops, I mean with Jehovah's chosen people? You couldn't have JUST because you seem to have already begun going through the indoctrination process, but you couldn't have been studying for a long period of time or you would probably not be here, and you most vertainly would have fled when you saw all the evil apostate. I'm gonna guess a few months or so. Am I close? Also, how old are you?

On another note, you should talk to some of the people here who left the "organization", affectionately referred to as the borg, or org if you will. Once you see the damage being a witness can do to you, you won't think twice about becoming their newest brother.

Of course your "new system" involves the brutal and bloody massacre of 6 BILLION people and a lot of JWs, too. If we had one World Trade Center massacre a DAY, it would take over seven months of daily World Trade Center massacres to equal the slaughter Watchtower leaders and JWs believe will happen at Armageddon.

THAT is the "Good News" JWs conveniently forget to mention in field service.
