Thanks for asking. I got some of my favorite hand cream, (Crabtree & Evelyn Rosewater), pearl earrings, some useless cutie pie stuff, a nice hat, and lots of merriment with my roommate's family.

Hi CC and Tink,
Well we opted not to have the tree this year, due to our two young and active cats. I finally did put a bit of decor on the outside of the front door.
We awoke to sleet first, and then to a heavy snow shower. It is still snowing here. We have a beautiful white Christmas for a change, here in Manassas, Virginia.
My son called me first thing today, which made my heart leap for joy. And, my mom, who is still shunning me, broke down and sent me a very brief note a couple days ago. A real surprise.
I'll admit to some negativity this past month, due to circumstances beyond my control; but I think I'm moving up out of that place now, and it feels so good.

My wife gave me some nice clothes, but that paled in comparison to the new fangled gadget that she gave me. She gave me a new electric razor. Man is my wife a hottie, a babe after my own heart.

Let's see.........a nice set of stainless steel measuring cups, wonderful pampered chef gadgets, home made crafts from my kids, a new robe......life is good!

We took our grandkids to see "the Lion king" and bought all the"stuff" they sell, t-shirts, posters, CD u name it. It really was a blast, we saw it at a IMAX therater. the children loved it and so did us old people.

Tink and I decided that we would buy gifts for our neices and nephews, but were gonna go shopping and treat ourselves this weekend. Tink's secret santa (beautiful garbage) made her some deliceous cinnammon raison bread, decorative hand crocheted clothes hangers that were beautiful, and crystal candle holders with Tea Candles. My gift should be arriving soon. I can't wait!

My flatmate & I are yet to exchange gifts. I don't know what he's got me, but I bought him a Gillette giftset, and a couple of CDs.

Hi Prisca, Those were very nice gifts. If there is a gillette Mach-3 razor in the giftset, I worked on designing the machines that assembled the razor. He'll love that gift, Gillette makes the best Men's products for shaving. I don't work for Gillette, honest...LOL

Edited to add - CC, yes it is the new Mach3 razor! He always uses those cheapy disposable razors, so I thought he'd like to be treated to a decent razor for a change!
