Have you ever wondered why a person posts the subjects that they do? In getting to know you, here, on this forum, I've come to appreciate certain things. Each individual contributes to the makeup of this board. For example, if we didn't have Farkel writing essays, we probably would never get the TRUE sense of something plain and simple. Farkel tells it like it is, whether you like it or not. And generally, he's right on the mark (unless it has to do with me). Blondie is another person that comes to mind along with JT because of their writing ability and keen observations. We have a number of posters that show their pain and hurt and we appreciate all of their comments. We have certain posters that are clearly, tender hearted and persons that are real. We also have some that like to create controversy just to rile things up. We have "fluff specialists" that provide us amusement and laughs.....We have it all here. We have the self proclaimed "mensa" people and those of us that know we're not that smart.We have the tough guys and gals and the sweethearts. WE ARE A VERY SPECIAL GROUP and I believe we accomplish so much for so many......Thanks again Simon, for all that you do!!!

Good question, what makes a person post? I lurked here for months before I finally posted, and my reason for finally doing so was because I wanted to really be part of the group. I probably haven't posted enough to be recognisable, but hopefully that will change with time.

I lurked for quite a while too. Then, I just thought "What the hell - if people in this cyber-world think I'm weird and don't like what I have to say, it's no different to the way people in the 'real' world see me"

And I have been posting ever since - not for a very long time though - only a month or so.

Oh how I wish I was one of the "real" ones.........but life would not have it. let me tell you why very briefly,

you see......I was an experiment that was performed at bethel back in the 50's. The boys at the farm were doing some ..."crazy stuff" with animal breeding.......and that's why I am here. I really can't say much more, but the OTHERS out there, that are what I am, ....know who you are. I wish you would speak up Farkle and help break this silly silence on the matter that has been going on for some 40-50 years. It may surprise most all of you out there ....but many X-dubs are not real.

there are a lot of people that post, who make this site worth posting on. some like Yadirf that i disagree with. some who express their experiences like Jesika. the many here including you Minimus, who post some great humour. some who post some great analytical satire like Blondie or research like Refiners fire, and many more. not only do they make this site worth posting on but make it worthwhile to keep coming back for more....
