My wife and I had the same problem with our son. I was pushing hard for Kevin, and she wanted Andrew. Well we went through several baby name books but to no avail. Finally we started trying last names. We almost picked Harrison, before finally agreeing on Jackson. And so it came to be. His full name is Jackson Scott.
It's going to confuse the hell out of the military if he ever signs up.

If it is a girl, I think you should name her Saphire, after your handle here. For boys, how about some old fashioned names, like, Leonard, Elmer, Elias, and Cyrus. Yes, names in my family from days gone by.
