Can someone help me out here. But bear with me.
I was thinking the other day about the WTs timeline of 607 bc.. to 1914ad.
Which is 2,520 years, right?
Now if I remember rightly these are lunar years of 360 days each.
Convert years to days:
360 x 2520 = 907,200 days
For sake of argument, say Jerusalem fell on 1 st October, 607
I count each day from then if I count 360 days from then, that is a lunar year.
Do I end up on September 30 th 606?
No I do not because that is 365 days ahead because it is a Solar year.
The 360 days ends on 25 th September 606.
So I start counting the next lunar year (360 days) from September 26 th as day 361. In 605 I will finish the next 360 days on 21 st September.
So each time I count I end up 5 days short.
If you count 907,200 days from 1 st October, 607. do you end up in 1914 ?
No you do not you end up in 1878!!!
The same can be worked out if you divide 907,200 by a solar year of 365 days and you will get 2,485.5 years which also brings you to 1878.
Complicated I know. But think about it!!
