Many of you will remember this music which was re-popularized by the movie "The Sting" with Robert Redford and Paul Newman. This one is my favorite of all the Joplin rags, and is as much of a Tango as it is a rag.

Is this an extra-slow version of "The Entertainer"?

Joplin himself said this rag is to be played in "very slow march time." The "Entertainer" is a totally different rag which is to be played "not fast."
Most people play Joplin's rags too fast, by the way.
