I realize that this is a stretch but is there anyone on this forum that at some time thought they might have been of the anointed? If so for how long?

I had a PO in my old congregation who professed to be of the anointed. Funny he had a thing for asking all the young brethren if they had a problem with masturbation. Go figure.

Well she has been `one` for over 15 yrs (so she thinks!) although ahe has been a jdub for nearly 35 yrs...(since I was about 8yrs old). The strange thing is that I don`t think anyone really agrees with her that she is one...even in the cong. We NEVER speak dub stuff as I was DF`ed when I was 22. The subject has never come up..although I have discussed the subject with my sister who left (DF`ed - five yeard ago) who thinks that it is all a figment of her mind....Personally I believe that she HAD to MAKE HERSELF one as it was the only place to go for her and what I mean by that is she has always been a domineering / contolling woman who wanted her family to do all that she wanted - and to some extent she lost a lot of power with the accompanying patriachy and by being a woman in the cong....I think she had to then deliberately `choose` to be an annointed so that she would gain some INDIVIDUAL POWER back. Thats my theory and I believe she is convinced that she is `annointed`. ........Funny thing is that she doesn`t portray any level of christian humility and /or empathy for people even her own family who she still shuns.....shame eh!!!

If this was a pre-requisite to be of the "annointed class " (tm) then the whole of the GB of WTS would not qualify! I could just picture these people siiting at Jesus' right hand...NOT!

My mother professes to be of the annointed, started about 10 years ago. I think she has serious emotional problems. She does a lot of weird things. I wasted a lot of my life, putting up with her abuse because I believed her, and gave her "double honor". What a load of crap. She is a horrible human being, I doubt very seriously that god picked someone like her. I'm sorry if this post sounds bitter, I guess I still am a bit.
