Since nearly 3 years, this site exists. Do you think that every possible topic has been covered? Do you have a hard time finding new topics to talk about, or is it easy for you to think about a new topic every day?

With every new WT publication, there's new reason and topic to disgust, I mean discuss. The light here stays on, and doesn't change...that's the beauty of the truth...it's always interesting to those that didn't have it previously.

Since new people join every day, I don't get tired of hearing a similar topic that I heard before, because it comes from different people, and it is expressed in different ways. Even if topics come back often, new people bring us their valuable experience, and this makes it educational.

The topics may be limited but the people who share them in this forum are diverse and an ever- growing population. I am always encouraged by the number of "newbies' who come in asking about the UN scandal or the Rutherford era. Same old topics? You bettcha- and new minds looking for the facts. For those with newley opened minds there will aways be something left to say.

As long as good people continue to leave the Watchtower cult this Forum ( or whatever this evolves into) will aways have something left to say.

As long as people need support after leaving the Watchtower we will always have something to say. Same problems- different people. I think it great that so many elect to stick around here to help, encourage and share with new ones. Emotional health in our post Watchtower lifes is possible for many and the therapy found here is a very worthy tool to use i seeking it.

New freinds found. Online pals are great. And this forum provides a medium for many to connect with people who understand each other. JW's are a small culture, Ex JW's are an even smaller group. As long as we bond in here with new freinds there will always be something left to say.

There must be a lot left to say. Every night when I return from work, I find at least two or three new pages of brand new threads that were begun while I was away. I have a difficult time keeping up.

    Nah...there's plenty to talk about......

e.g. Who's gonna win the Superbowl.

I think it is important that some that have been out of the Borg for a while hang around here, to give assistance and suggestions to those who have recently left.

I remember when I was in the process of leaving 4 yrs ago, and the information that really helped me was the personal stories of those who had left, and how they had coped with life outside the Watchtower. Sure, doctrinal matters were interesting, but many things I had pretty much sorted out on my own reading of the Bible. The fact that people had been able to move on and *gasp* actually have happier lives was reassuring, and helped me plan my own life away from the Borg.

I've only been out for 3 years now, but I hope that what I've learnt so far might be able to help someone, just as much as those before me helped me.

And God knows, if the scandals keep airing as they have, there's gonna be a mass exodus to here that will make Moses a boy scout!

Along with Prisca, this forum is (among other things) very much a support group for anyone escaping a cult. Like someone escaping alcoholism, or codependency, or dealing with PTS, whatever it might be, they/we need a support group to help them escape and to give them emotional refuge and reinforcement.

As long as alcohol exists, a group like AA also needs to exist. As long as the WTS exists, a forum like this also needs to exist.

Are you saying that Iam a support group, all by myself???

As long as the WTS exists, a forum like this also needs to exist.

Amen to that. There have been many times I've felt like leaving the site, but the thought that there might be someone who I can help, particularly here in Oz, is what keeps me here. As well as the many friends I've made here along the way!
