Where did Abel go, where did Enoch go, where did Noah, Shem, Japhtheh, Ham and their wives go, where did Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob and his family go, where did the Israelites go until 1513.

All these people worshipped the God of the Bible without belonging to an organization.

If the Catholic Church has been an apostate organization since 300 CE, where was the true organization? Does that mean there were no true worshippers? If there were, how did they worship without an organization?

Blondie, dealing as they are with a flock that has been conditioned to ``sit down, shut up, listen and obey," consistency has seldom bothered WTs formulators of doctrine.

On the one hand they have taught that Jesus in his parable of The Wheat and The Weeds (Tares) assures that there would always be an unbroken line of ``wheatlike" true believers, albeit temporarily obscured by the oversowing of the true field by the devil, and have in their literature used the adjective ``1900-year-old" in respect to the Faithful and Discreet Slave, yet insist that pastor Russell, a religious maverick, led a restoration to pure Christianity. Apart from some faint praise occasionally meted out to isolated individuals or the Waldenses or Huguenots, etc. they make no attempt to redress this glaring inconsitency in their doctrine.

All their articles comparing the life and deeds of First-Century Christians to contemporary JWs, they fast-forward from the First Century to the late Nineteenth, blythely skipping over the intervening 18 or so centures of history.

Thanks, I know they say that, Room 215. I have been a loyal JW up until now and am well acquainted with that doctrine of the WTS. But can they prove it by pointing to any individuals and/or groups that the WTS approves of? No, they can't. So in my opinion there was none, only sincere individuals reading the Bible trying to weed out the lies and the liars.
