I clearly have heard of the names you have mentioned. I assume that court cases are in motion on these cases. Though court papers may have been filed and maybe even court hearings- have any of these cases been decided. I am not speaking about convictions of pediphiles. I certainly believe that all pediphiles should be brought to court and punished to the fullest extent possible. I am speaking of any cases- lawsuits- against the WT - have any been decided? Has any court yet held the WT liable for these action? That is what I would like to see, but as yet I know of no such ruling.

You missed my point so I will try again.

You gave an opinion as to what you thought were going to be the defences, and how the WTS was going to protect themselves etc.

I said to you that to understand how the corporations/policies work and what "key" defences the WTS is actually going to use it may be advisable that you read the information on the Boer trial, the Reeves (sp?) decisions and all the "writs" over. It will help you understand the issues so you can take a postion.

WTS won in Reeves but the ped lost, Boer awaits - the key is - is their a duty of care or not, others are at disclosure stages.

In any event to get back to your orginal post, if you want to really analyze the defences and policies I urge you to review the information I have given you.

You can order them through the courts, some writs are at the SL site and others are at Court web sites.

Hawk my son, though he lost both feet has recovered well. Just glad to be alive. One leg is shorter than the other and learning to walk again with his new feet is a real challange for him. He is having some emotional problems over it all and I think that his mom is dragging him to the KH. He has started shunning me.

I have a reall serious sinus infection- on steroids and antobiotics. Other than that life goes on.

Thanks so much for asking. I truly am glad that the direction of SL is headed in seemingly a more focused way. I was very concerned that so many things that were being said- but that seems to be old history now.

Wow - just uggg. I hope your son does well in life (it will no doubt be a long run to recovery both physically and mentally for all of you) and have patience with this JW stuff. Push a little here and a little there - you know the good old questioning format works wonders.

Sinus pain .... I have those bacteria infections all the time. Just kills me. May last one was in the entire month of October.

As for SL .... I am not a member of the organization but I do try to give a little "push" to things to make life .... well ... a little more "public" for Bill every now and then .... I really had nothing to do with the Las Vegas stuff except hooking CBC up with Las Vegas NBC and trying to Goodstein interested. The former worked with the later almost working but Goodstein is still looking for a national "edge" before she publishes again (you never though she may change her mind tomorrow though). I thought Bill, Laurie Fitzwater, Kim Norris et. al. did a great ... no outstanding job in getting the press out.

THanks JC. My infection has lasted since a year ago last October. I thought I was dying. But with all the other trauma and day to day stuff I neglected myself a bit. Did make a couple of runs to the emergency room and a couple of clinics. Vanderbilt finally came through for me.

Your efforts are much appreciated by the survivors I am sure hawk. You seem to be a very balanced person. Best wishes to you and yours in this new year!

Kelsey- BTW freezing down here. Got down to 7 degrees and five feet of snow!
