this was a tradition in high school and grade school, it was followed by punches to the arms--one per year--and the ritual ended with a Charlie horse to the thigh, the more friends one had the more one hurt, you were lucky if you could walk by the end of the day. . . .
one of the few times i was actually glad to be a dub.

I remember those days, although us girls got off easy. The boys were barbaric to eachother, though. I about choked on my coffee when you mentioned the arm punches and Charlie horses. LOL. Ah, memories.
