HeHeHeHeHeHe!!!!!!!!!!!!
From our friends at Purelanguage
I know we all have had wonderful things happen to us that only Jehovah could have done. Miracles, gifts from Jehovah, you decide. I must tell you this wonderful experience and you decide where it came from. I already know.
A few weeks ago I was whining about this terrible waterbed that is just crippling my hubby and I. some of the sisters emailed me and told me of some sales. There was no way we could afford a new one.I joked with a sister that Jehovah would have to drop one down from heaven if I was going to have a new mattress.
Last Saturday night we had to go to clean a small restaurant floor. We went at 1 am and came home about 8 a.m.
On the highway , just off the road Avant saw a mattress llying there. He wanted me to stop . NO WAY I said. So we came home.
A few hours later he was complaining that his hand had swelled to three times the normal size. He had been bitten by a spider a few days ago. He called the doctor. The dr. said go to the ER to have them check it.
On the way to the hospital we passed the matttress again. Avant said we have to look at it. I just kept on driving. The dr. changed his meds and gave him a shot in the , well never mind where. Anyhow, on the road he started again. We ARE going to stop and look at the mattress. So I did . I would not get out. He said he hoped no one passed by that knew him. heehee. He said it was in perfect condition , no tears , no stains or anything . AND it was king size. Now i am starting to get excited about the mattress.
We drive a little car. We would have looked like the Beverly Hillbillys if we had tied that mattress on the car.
When we got home I asked the neighbor across the street if he would go get the mattress with Avant in his pickup. He said" sure". So off they go. He said he had never picked up anything on the road and hoped noone would recognize him. haha
A little while later they arrived home with the mattress.
it is in brand new condition. so we sanitized it good and put it in the empty bedroom.
We had the best nights sleep we have had in years. Now , what do you think ? Where did the matttress come from??
As I laid on my " heavenly " gift I thought about all my cyber friends out there and asked Our Father to bless alll of them.
Indeed, miracles , or gifts from God really do happen. Isn't that wonderful? LUVYA Carole
She thinks god gave her a mattress for her empty room....read close
Happy for you Carole, this is really a miracle. Sometimes the happiness of this kind of miracle not just come from getting the thing we need but also the 'personal attention' and deep love shown by Jehovah.
Deep love....of a friggin mattress!
She gets robbed (mugged really) and has the opportunity to preach and thinks god protected her....Wow Carole, surely this is a miracle from Jehovah. I also consider a gift from Him, if I tell you, what happened to me last year.
I left my Office almost at 08.00 p.m., and took a taxi from the street. Suddenly, I was kidnapped by some thieves, who in complicity of the taxi driver, took me far away from my work and my home and forced me to give them my debit and credit cards. After more than three hours we had crossed different roads of the city, extracting the money with the debit card and looking for an opened supermarket in order to buy some goods (I lost aprox. USD 100,00 in cash and I had to pay with my credit card almost USD 300,00 of liquor bottles that they later sell retail).
This is called here as millionaire walk and is a very dangerous but common modality of robbery, which is punished by the law as extortion-kidnapping. In most cases, the victims are struck or drugged and it could be worst for women. But in my case, they were kind and friendly. Inclusively, I had the opportunity to preach them and to explain them the possibility to live in better conditions with their families.
ing Jehovah
I really continue thankfor His protection that night.
Here I am at age 48 and taking an interesting combination of drugs that makes it impossible to consider becoming a mother again (at least in this system of things)......... and having the desire to marry and have a second family. TODAY I have become responsible for two of the sweetest little toddlers in the world. They are my grandkids. Their mother does not feel up to raising them. My heart has ached to see them loved less than they deserve, even dangerously neglected at times. NO MORE !!! They are mine to raise !!!That one is priceless...her grandchildren are abandoned and again it is Jehovah!! The poor kids.
Now, for the husband part..........
We had our circuit assembly this last weekend and heard two wonderful experiences that display Jehovah's loving kindness toward individuals.
My own experience (not part of the circuit assembly program), which I definitely believe was another act of loving kindness, was when my exhusband decided he wasn't going to either support me and our three sons, nor was he going to sleep with me anymore unless I gave up the truth. This happened in 1985. He said he'd pay the rent but that was all. He moved my oldest son out of his room and lived, basically as a roommate for a year. He didn't touch me again.I figured at the time I would have to live that way until the new system. It was discovered about three years later, however, that I was scripturally free.
Anyway, during that time, he had been working on getting me to follow his course of life...trying to find recreational things, etc. to do during meeting times (he was well on the way to becoming apostate). I had been doing what I could to maintain the three sons spirituality during this trying time. I delivered newspapers in the early morning (using my nifty bicycle!!! hahaha) and took care of an elderly lady and cleaned houses. I also helped my sons do paper routes. Most of all, I drew the boys and I close to Jehovah and told them to look to him for our salvation. This is not an easy thing to endure with growing sons, who were at the time 5, 10 and 12.
Finally, after a few weeks, came a time when we were basically out of food. "Let Jehovah provide" came the word from my husband. He had been eating the food that I was purchasing from our own meager labors.
I prayed to Jehovah to help us. The next day, one of the sisters in the congregation called. Mind you, I hadn't told anyone of our predicament. She said a couple in the congregation were moving to Colorado Springs, and had a house full of food they didn't want to take with them, and could I use it?
They stocked our fridge, cupboards, freezer, you name it.
My husband was there to witness it. He knew Jehovah had answered the challenge.
And yes, to this day, all my sons are in the truth.
She lived with someone as a roommate rather than give up her religion....then finally became "Scripturally" free...what an idiot~!!!! I wonder if her Apostate husband posts here?
Whenever I get to wondering if Jehovah takes personal notice of lil ole ME I recall this incident:
I had been offered a job at a nursing home. I really didn't know if this was a good idea or not, so I prayed to Jehovah the night before I was to start. Then I left it in his hands. Should I take the job or not? I set my alarm clock and went to sleep.
I was not awoken by my alarm clock. OH NO. A bird was singing, loudly, it sounded as if it were right next to my ear, but I couldn't see it. I started for the bathroom finally and there it was, a little tiny sparrow inside the bathroom window, looking for all the world as if it had no idea how it came to be there. It quit singing just a second after I saw it. I assumed that I must be too late to go to work, so I did my morning duty and then went and opened the front door for little birdie to find his way out. He went STRAIGHT out as if totally aware what I was doing and why. I checked the time finally and it was exactly time for me to wake up in order to go to work. The alarm clock never went off. Jehovah's angel had turned it off and provided an answer that could only have come from a superhuman source.
Reminds me of Elijah or Elisha being fed by the ravens, since he used a bird to show his loving concern for me.
I had to stop reading....first I laughed at their stupidity, then I got annoyed at their stupidity.
So, from what we have read, god gave someone a ratty, old mattress, gave a victim of mugging the opportunity to preach, gave a 48 year old two children to raise, gave someone food who didn't have any (in spite of living with her apostate husband, who had been spiritually unclean) and another bozo gets the opportunity to not work because Jehovah's angel was watching and changed the clock!!!!!!!
I know I never attributed anything good to god...I could always trace a path of how it happened.
It's like peeking in someone's window.....(not that I have done that, however, if I had, I would feel....weird)
