Dear Sweet Orangefatcat,,,,,,,, I am so sorry for all you and your hubby are going thru. I will be thinking of you , wishing to send you cyber (((((((((hugs)))))))))))) and hope that both of you will be ok. It seems so many on this board are going thru so much right now, some are going thru very serious illnesses.
But we are here for you anytime you need to talk, my email is open and would love to hear from you anytime. You are so sweet and I think of you daily,,,,, I spend alot of time in my kitchen (3 kids to feed) and I see the potholders, the happyfaces on them and the kitchen towels and smile thinking of your kindest in giving them to me. Also all the other things in that wonderful box of goodies, but those were my favorites, I have a pot holder collection, and I love the color red.

Note to Scully.......... thanks for posting that info,,,,,,,,,, I tell you sometimes reality hits you when you read the facts of what smoking does to you. I see myself smoking more cigs a day, and really I hate the cig smell. But it is the addiction,,,,,,, even a few cigs a day, is not good in my case, I have had bronchitis since I was a child , I get a bad case of it 2 times a year. I think it is time for me to give up something , that really makes me feel bad about myself . I am on a mission to get healthy or I will have so many health problems very soon. Again, the article is making me do some soul searching today,,,,,,,,, thanks.

I suppose that I am a little more worried about Marco because he is
73 years old, he doesn't act it nor look it. But this is my major concern his
age if he were younger I wouldn't be so worried.

I do know about emphysema, and I am so sorry that your husband has this dreadful disease.... but be positive and strong for each other...as regards the epidural steroids ... I personally have had two injections... the first time it was no good, and then the second time the injection worked, but be warned that the effect is short term, and does not give long term effect... sorry..... I am still suffering badly with my back, but I have decided that I would rather take light exercise and painkillers to get me through the bad days, than to take anymore steroids... it is like anything.. too much...and your body becomes immune... so it sounds as if the pair of you need lots of TLC.... and that is what you will get from us lot on board, ... if you need to talk some more please e-mail me...

Thanks for your concern. I did have epidural steriods 15 yrs ago and it worked but at that time i did not have spinal stenosis. The doctor told me that the E.S. is only a temporary sitution as I diffently will require surgery as my spine is very bad now. and the stenosis is in the L4 L5 L5 S1 and also cervical spine in C4 C5 C5 C6 and a herniated disk in the neck that is in terrible pain all the time. I am now on Morphine for the pain as now it is constant. Thanks for asking Nightwarrior.
Thanks for the concern for my husband Marco too. He needs to be taken care of too.
Sometimes I feel so frustrated because with this constant pain and trying to make sure hubby is okay I feel defeated. He has to look after me more than me after him and that is what makes what makes me feel so quilty.
LyinEyes- you are sweet as ever. I always appreciate your kind remarks and now with Christmas over and the pretty sweet smell of holly I only think of you and your family when I smell. I used up all the candles. As I am a candle freak...
