    Fish and birds survived

One of the things that people forget is that many fish wouldn't survive.

Not all fish are the same - some live in salt water, some live in fresh-water, it's hard to keep those separate during a global flood.

Just one of the reasons the flood myth is just a story, not a fact.

And the issue of not everyone being evil (esp. babies and small children) is also why the logistics of armageddon make no sense and can't be reconciled with the concept of a loving god. It doesn't give people a chance, and as the population grows the number of people that it's unfair to keeps increasing.

Again, another reason that bible stories and religious beliefs simply make no sense once you start thinking about the nitty gritty details.

Obviously, those animals copulating furiously and with multiple partners without a proper marriage officiated by BigJ were guilty of fornication and deserved to die.

And what about all the animals that were killed for the sacrifices?

And what about all the animals that were killed in most of the wars in the Promised Land (not leaving anything breathing alive)?

jehovah seems very good at killing things.

not so hot on creating them.

    And yet....

Not so many years afterward, Jehovah felt sorry for the animals he would have "had to" kill in Nineveh.

    Jonah 4:11:

Should I not also feel sorry for Ninʹe·veh the great city, in which there are more than 120,000 men who do not even know right from wrong, as well as their many animals?

Maybe the Assyrian donkeys were more repentant than the Noachian ones?
