  I said your country was relatively irrelevant as far as the war on terrorism goes, all countries are important.

  Now what many open economy countries DON'T want to tell their populations is something that conservatives have known all along in america. The hard truth is...(drum roll) everyone cannot be rich.

  What! It's true.

  If you took all the money in the world and distributed it equally everyone would have only a few thousand dollars. Then, everyone will be in the hole. So, America invests in it's inteligensia and encourages market growth so more people have the chance to be prosperous. And yes, we take care of our poor but we try to not make them dependent of the government. The gorernment is in reality dependent of the success of its citizens. I can assure you that our ability to innovate due to our increased level of competition has made it possible for countries like yours to have the option of Socialism. We not only lead the world economy....we are the world economy. Without vibrant growth the world economies collapse. That's exactly what the terrorists want.

  Our country is intensely multicultural which has helped fuel competition and growth. But at the same time more loosely knit and more challenging to govern. It has been a blessing and a malediction.

  It really is better if people educate themselves about reality a little bit before they simply start verbally attacking someone's counrty. Questiong, even strong disagreement is fine. Blanket statements that denigrate a people of a great land is just childish babble.

  yes that is true.

  i am not suggesting to distribute all the money equally (i realize communism [which is very similar to the idea of paradise as seen by the WT] unfortunately doesn't work). but a more just distribution would be good. an extreme example is the middle east...on one hand you have guys that are filthy rich from the oil...on the other hand you have people nearly starving. i know its not realistic but a somewhat more even distribution would solve most if not all problems there.

  for the US...many corporations/people get rich because the exploit the workers. the lower 50% of people in the US definitively don't get paid enough for what they do. a small socialist influence in the government would help these 130 million people a lot.

  I am afraid its going the other way....if you look at the statistics ...the average american has less wealth now compared to the late 70ties. it is unfortunately true that the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer.

  i always tried to make it clear that i do not hate the US but just disagree with several aspects of US politics. sorry if i gave the wrong impression.

  My girlfriend is originally from the Czech Republic. She speaks German. I can pronounce German.

  My only point was the the US has the largest economy and the global financial community is dependent upon it to a great extent. That dependency is getting less and less though as counrties develope more and more.
