At my hall, everyone seemed to sit in the same area, every single meeting. For many, it was the exact same seat. From time to time of course they would encourage everyone to sit in the front rows, and then things would change for a couple of weeks, then everyone would be back where they started. My elder dad had his spot, and of course we sat with him. So every meeting usually was the same scene from my seat. Over here would be so-n-so, over here, someone else. Every time.

That reminds me of a sister who moved my books to another seat without asking me. It seems I had sat in her "pew." This reminds me of a song guaranteed to make you puke.
VOMIT ALERT!!!!!!! Move Around (sung to the music of "Move Ahead", song 123)
1.
Move around, move around at the Kingdom Hall
Find a row, say hello, to some one you met last fall
Take a seat, plant your feet, have yourself a ball.
And get to know your family. How many times have you walked through the door
And staked a claim on the seat from before?
Change your seat. You will find that it's not a chore.
Keep changing your locality.2.
Move around, move around, help the spirit flow,
Change your aisle, give your smile to someone you do not know.
You won't die, if you're shy, it will help you grow
And add to our maturity.Meet all the brothers and not just a few,
'Cause all the brothers would love meeting you!
It's our loss if the moss grows all over you
So move around, move frequently.3.
Move around, move around, don't be grouchety.
Change your spot, please don't rot 'cause of immobility.
Move up close, get a dose of theocracy.
We know you'll like it if you try. You'd give your life for a friend, I am sure.
And share your wealth to help brothers endure.
So let's start being loving to one and all

I noticed this at my hall too. I made it a point to sit in a different location everytime I went to the hall... confused the hell out of the mic handlers.

Yep I would agree with that!
They also took some rows of seats from the back to make it look better attended!

Not a specifically KH phenomenon - it happens in all churches. I've noticed in the old Pente church I attended in the 80s that the "young people" still tend to sit in the block of seats (there are three such blocks) to left (looking from the stage).

Same thing at my old hall, to the extent people who sat in the "wrong" seats would get looked at funny.
BLONDIE--- OH MY GOD, that is the funniest thing I have read in a long time! I think you sometimes still go to the hall, right? Next time they sing that song, substitute your words and see if anyone notices roflmao
