It is DEFINITELY time for Mandela to retire. He's done good things, nobody's arguing that, but now...whoooo...not a smart move, insulting the leader of the world's greatest SuperPower. Ouch.

He could at least get his facts correct! Iraq does not produce 64% of the worlds oil, it's more like 4%. 2.4 million barrels a day compared to Saudi with 8.8 million barrels a day at the end of 2001. The man is a 84 year old man who is not thinking right himself.

I think that it is Bush that is losing it mentally. Again he keeps saying he has all this evidence of Iraqis weapons of mass destruction. Where is it? That is why 10 countries from the European Parliament voted against military action against Iraq. This is also why a vast majority of people is questioning Bush's motives. Seems to be that he is hiding his real motives.

So if someone questions President Bush's motives BUSH HAS TO HAVE an agenda? That doesn't make sense. Where's the FACTS supporting that issue.
Seems most countries are beginning to come around. The US isn't going it alone, there are already 40 countries backing us. France is back pedaling from it's hard line position, and I could not care less about Germany's position in all this. I love the German people and culture but have no use for German politics.

You've bought into the propoganda, BUSH didn't say Iraq had WMD, THE UN did, back in 1991. What the UN most recently said is that SADDAM had to show that he has DESTROYED these weapons. Saddam has failed to show this. So, we KNOW he had the weapons, He didn't show any proof he destroyed them, BUT on Feb 5th Col Powell will reveal a small piece of what the US does know about his WMD. -

other than that...he is not far away from the truth. the US government is using the opportunity to get the entire middle east under their control. and thats for 3 reasons a) oil b) israel c) terrorism.
since hussein has however no connection to al qaida terrorism (hussein is the greatest opposer of muslim fundamentalism) seems not to be the reason for this war.

I am not using propaganda. Just look at your hero Bush, the one you are so quick to give up your life for. He is the one that is using the hate propaganda. Myself I don't like Sadam and mistrust Bush just as much but I am not going to go into someone elses country and kill innocent men, women and children just because we disagree with their leaders policies. One thing I have learned from being an ex Dub, only believe about 10% of what is being told to you. You know Sadam won't be the one paying for his deeds, it will be the average Iraqian. Sadam will be long gone before the US even gets close enough to Bagdad.

Thanks for a civilized response.My points: First, we don't want to take their oil. Did we take Kuwait's???
We do want to keep people that hate us and are willing to help our enemies from getting the money from the oil. We will give it to a legitimate government along with a lot of aid.
Next, they have already brought this war to us. Not us to them. We would not be in Afghanistan, we would not be going into Iraq if the Twin Towers had not been hit, if the civilians of all nationalities these cowards killed had not been killed. We are not starting a war, we are pursuing those who attacked us and preventing another attack.
Finally, you have nothing to fear from the Arabs. Except poison and germs.

Threats from liars and blowhards mean little. The one thing they can do is stab us in the back as we allow them to enjoy the freedom of our country. They are effective human bombs about one in ten tries. Had they managed to poison a large number of British civilians with the ricin that would have been a GREAT victory to these fools.
Sympathy for these yellow dogs is sickening. Fear is unreasonable. We know where they live. They will never stand and fight. They will never stand and fight your son but might knife fight your daughter, as long as she doesn't have a knife and doesn't know they plan on fighting her.
If we go there and chase them around and slap all their relatives, then take their oil and give it to a legitimate government, they will be too busy running and too broke to do much. Look at Osama, that worm is keeping a pretty low profile for a would be "Martyr" isn't he? Probably using western technology to get his bladder drained. When he is sure he is dying soon anyway, he might stand up, I doubt it. If he does he will be slapped down, quick and hard. If UK or American forces had been the only troops allowed to surround him he wouldn't have gotten away.
