My mother on several occasions claimed to speak for the Almighty, accompanied by "The Look," and I didn't dispute it. Didn't hear the Almighty dispute it either, so I figured he was scared of her too.

I have had several cases of mother's intuition. Does that count as God talking to me? This intuitive knowing started right after I had my boy. Also, after I had him, I started praying more for guidance. There were things that I just "knew" about my son. It helped to make it easier to raise him-- until he got to be a teenager. Not that the "knowing" was incorrect. It remained accurate. It's just, well, you know what teenagers can be like.

Well.....one time when we were roommates he asked me for a beer.I said no,you never replaced the ones you drank last time.I gotta buy-em.This dude just creates them.Anyway he sobered up and got the hang of creating other things.Soon it was planets,galaxies,life forms,ect,ect..He went on to become real famous,I was left to do battle with an idiot religion one of his life forms started..The rest,as they say,is a mystery..The dude never did replace my beer...OUTLAW

Then why are we asked to petition Him if we aren't supposed to ask him for anything? I never knew what to ask. I felt like I was talking to a genie in a bottle.

In my opinion God has always answered my prayers and everything I have asked him for. Just by the fact of being alive I know he is answering me when I ask him to give me life in my prayers. Just a thought.
