Portland/Vancouver ExJW Meetup

I finally made it to a meetup tonight. I really enjoyed meeting the ones in attendance, some who don't post here, yet. Onacruse and Bikerchic were there, as well as Buster, Songmistress, Lost Diamond and me. In all, twelve people showed up and it was a very enjoyable time spent with all.

If you've never made it to your local meetup, I encourage you to do so and get to know the exJWs in your locale. Be it an apostafest or a monthly meetup, meeting people we talk to on the inernet is a great experience. I'm looking forward to getting to know them each better in the future.

I really enjoyed meeting you, Lew, and Buster for the first time! I had already met Craig, Katie, SongMistress and it was very nice to see them again. It was awesome for that many to show up. I had a great time, and I hope we all meet real soon!

Aweee,I'm jealous.I want to go to a meet up with people here!

I have started to go to x-Jw meetings with in my area,its a healing place.So far around 20 people are atteneding.

It was a really nice time. Its quite a rush to meet folks in person. I wish I didn't need to leave - the Winterhawks lost anyway though my kids had a great time. It was my first time meeting anyone from the board.

Lost Diamond: I go to Beaverton a couple times a week and if you would like to borrow some of my books, just let me know. You could swing by my office to pick them up.

Sorry I wasn't able to go again this month. The drive up from Salem is very daunting in the winter months. I'm glad you had a good turn out and hope to see you at an upcoming Meetup.

Yep, another good time! Tammy, we missed ya, for sure But, hey! It only rains in Oregon for 11 months out of the year, right? LOL

hehe, I was surprised to meet some folks who not only don't post here, but who've never even heard of this forum. And here I thought the whole world knows about jw.com!

Lew...I really need to get PhotoShop SuperPro to retouch the pics you took of me...I look like I'm standing in front of a firing squad. LOLOLOL

Have Lew send the photo of you to me. I would love to run your head through Photoshop. I won't make you look weird at all, I promise, you can trust me, honest. You guys met at a book store? Wow, you sound like a fun group. If I wasn't such an antisocial I might have grabbed my pillow and jammies and joined you. As much as I hate little get togethers I would still love to meet your new bride someday. She sounds like one hell of a great lady.

Craig, I thought your picture turned out pretty good. At least my lens didn't crack, lol. All of you gave me permission last night to post them, but I wanted you to see them first to see if they were okay for you.

I hope Strike9 is feeling up to working, I'll put a few of them up in a little bit.

Dave, you should have come there. You can't be any more anti-social than I am.

Tammy, missed you too. We met back in August, but I would like keeping in touch with more of you.
