Why is there a huge cull going on of all bethels around the world?
About 80% cull within the next year?
Some have been in bethel for decades and will be sent packing, the 20% of bethelites who stay will have to do their own food, laundry and clean their flat. ALL housekeepers are getting kicked out.
ALL building projects have been cancelled!

No one knows anything for sure, but the most plausible guess is that the WTS has a very serious cash flow issue and needs to drastically reduce expenses to ensure its long-term stability.

I think Lett said it clearest in his recent broadcast, "we have more going out than we have coming in."
Tally this with the constant requests and reminders for donations and contributions, reduction in magazine size and quantities, asking the brothers to use their tablets instead of getting hard copies, and removing DO's and Special Pioneers (those that cost the Org real dollars), then you start to see the bigger picture.
Once the various lawsuits start piling up they will need to make every $ count.
They have been riding the 'gravy train' way too long anyway. Time to get a taste of real life! Wonder if the gb will be making their own beds and doing their own laundry!

I would be grateful if anyone could share knowledge of how the Philippine branch is being impacted by the downsizing. It has two large residential blocks both of which are especially built with Japanese knowhow to resist earthquakes. Also, the population is poor on the whole, and not everybody has the resources to obtain tablets and smartphones for a digital ministrty. Any information would be appreciated.
Welcome F.B. - The WTBTS has clearly suffered a financial heart-attack, and it's depending on the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses (aka the "other sheep") to provide the defibrillator (huge piles of cash) and revive its life-force. That's the bottom line.

Good luck with that, Watchtower... 'specially considering that the donations of "myriads on myriads" of conscious-classers are - I suspect - drying up a little faster than you anticipated.
Not to mention that there's only so much blood you can squeeze out of a "great crowd" of under-educated, baseline-poverty-stricken loyalists.

Thes guys can't see their way that far into the future everything is in panic mode it is strickly hail mary passes from here on in.
The Corporation is: Advertising Advertising Advertising The King And His Kingdom is a no show and they are in serious financial legal trouble over trying to deny this fact, and they are advertising the fact that they are all frauds, by causing a mass internet search among the faithful to find out what the fuck is really going on with the money and to find out they they've been had.
