Russia threatens to shutdown missiles sent to Syria and destroy their launchpads. Trump tweets 'be ready for the missiles, they're gonna be new and smart. US & Russia envoys to the U.N. exchange kisses and shake hands before meeting. It's like a reality show except isn't. In WT words I'm just giving up.

Wars had always been fought since mankind formed its own countries and borders. Wars fought during our lifetime creates more impact on us as we really see/hear/Read about them.

Even if the Syrian war escalates into a global one, that has nothing to do with the Bible.

But (Some) Christians would always find ways to tie up the situation with any verses from their Holy book. Its all about creating panic and Pulling people into religion.

All of what is taking place could end up in a cataclysmic worldwide disaster. But these events have nothing to do with what JWs preach related to Armageddon. It is just a mess with no solution or conclusion.

It's easy to criticise western leader's actions and inactions. The USA, the UK and their allies are damned if they intervene and damned if they don't. Anybody who tries to understand the complex web of evil bastards and conflicting interests in the Middle East might hesitate to rush to judgement.

Except thats not at all how its supposed to go down! First there is supposed to be the destruction of Babylon the Great starting the great tribulation, then the cry of Peace and security, then the imminent attack on God's people - only then can Armageddon actually start! And somewhere in between all that there is the rapture of the remaining anointed to heaven!!!

JW's who believe that armageddon could start any day don't even understand their own doctrine.
