I was recently looking at a picture that showed my city almost a hundred years ago. I started trying to imagine the scene, but in color, and what it would have been like.
They say if time travel was possible, you must be careful, for what you do could alter the future.
Though I know it is not possible, I think it would be fantastic to do so.
So, would you do it if you could? What time era would you go to?
And yes, I realize that many of us would change time and not become witnesses!
If I could travel to the past, I would go back to 1962 and rescue a newborn baby boy from an incestous childhood and years of neglect.
If I could travel to the future, I would like to go ahead a couple of hundred years and see what progress, if any, has been made. Hopefully we would have some things figured out.

I think the coolest place & time for me would be actually during the biblical times. The Mediteranean (sp?) during those times absolutely facinates me...
I think even going back to the 1700's and 1800's in North America would be interesting as well.

Being cognizant of the fact that the future is always the direct outcome of social forces in motion in our own time, I don't think it would be prudent to interject myself into society past!!!!

I would go forward in time 100,000 years.
Although this is a new time travel thread , I would still like to go way back to the dinosaurs and the creation of the universe.
I would go back about two hundred years and unlock some of the mysteries of my ancestry. And I could see what they looked like, since they lived before cameras were invented.
Time travel would be interesting. I would like to go back to Petrograd in October 1917. Heathen, you might also find Petrograd (St. Petersburg) to be a fascinating place. Are you still interested in a Russian bride? There are a number of Russian ladies living here on the West Coast who might be interested in meeting you.
