I can only speak for my personal experience but I only met one Elder that didn't hate Judicial meetings.

When I was an elder, I felt that it was my god given duty, to protect the flock. I did not mind being on a JC because it was one of the things an elder had to do. During the last couple of years, I seldom volunteered to be on the committees. I was often asked, though, to be on the JC because I was more experienced than most. When I was on such committees I hated it.
