I was paranoid , one of the first site i remember looking up was Shaun`s , and Dogpatch`s Free Minds..

Some of the things I was seeing I just could not believe in ,maybe apostate lies were true .

However a lot of other things I could relate too . So I kept looking and searching.

And I`ve been on here about 13 years now and I luv you all.

First time I ever posted on this site, the very first time I ever posted on anything that would be considered apostate, I had a massive adrenaline rush but I felt good about it too. It was liberating and scary all at the same time. My other half is a non believer though he accepts Jehovah as the one true God but will not follow the org so that was not an issue for me. He was asleep at the time and I couldn't wait till morning to tell him.

Something we tend to forget, but it's good to be reminded of...

...by the time we take the plunge and check out internet material critical of the WTS, its mostly to confirm what we've already come to suspect.

    ...i.e...

Viewing XJW material doesn't turn you into an "apostate"...

...it just helps you realize you already are one.

No! I never knew such a site existed. I signed up as Blueblades back in 2002 16 years ago! Those days had a group of us that were no match to the watchtower ruling class. We destroyed every teaching that they had back in those days. Simon has made some changes since then to this current site and I lost my password as Blueblades and signed in on other handled.I wrote Simon at different times to see if he could get my original Blueblades up and running and have not heard from him. I know that he is very busy with this site. I miss my Blueblades avatar.

    Hi Blueblades!!!😏

Regarding Ray’s books , I sent away for it and had it sent to my work. I used to travel far away to apostate book stores so no one could report me.🙄

I never gave it much thought. I figured the truth would revealed itself through scrutiny. I even told my wife what I was doing and she just told me to be careful, that was about it.

At the time I was in a real mental delema anyway and didn’t care what anyone thought of my actions.

Yeah. Exactly. I usually read Ray Franz books at work, or James Penton's books at work. Nobody has any idea what they're about, probably nobody cares anyway. Some people might think I'm just using my imagination, or something, LOL.

For how long I've been out of the org (over 10 years). It never dawned on me till about a year ago when I stumbled across this. I didnt even fully understand what it ment to be a apostate.
