Look, Even if we used a nuke, it wouldn't be anything like the dinasaurs you mentioned. As for largest energy consumer, hey, we have nearly three hundred MILLION people in our country. We enjoy a decent lifestyle. Of course we're going to use some energy. We are also leading the way in conservation technology. Compare the U.S. to Russia or China. Do they give a rats ass about the environment? Can you say Chernobyl? Sunken Nuke sub?
