Today is my JW daughter's Birthday!!
A mommy remembers the day she gave birth to her daughter. She was only 4 lb. 6 oz. and at only 7 months of pregnancy, I gave birth. She stayed in the hospital an extra week, just to "catch up". When she was born, her "sucking muscles" had not been fully developed. If it wasn't for the advances of modern science, she would not have survived. She had tubes down her throat and an intravenous needle in her arm, giving her nutrition until she could suck. Today, she lives in Vancouver and works in a hotel downtown in Administration. I miss her. I dare not send her a card because she would feel offended that I did not "respect" her beliefs. And I taught her that.
So I'm gonna just celebrate her day on my own. . .anyone care to join me????
