    Keith Marshall - Only Crying

    Ain't no big sensation
    commited no crime
    only recollections
    of forgotten old affections
lost in time - only crying
    sometimes I wish
    on a night like this

    Only crying
well, the moonlight kind of threw me
    only crying
and the red wine's getting to me
    only crying
it's my broke heart that is healing
can't a man show his feelings
am I meant to be a clown in pantomime?
Just a raindrop in the ocean
    just a simple, sad emotion
    only crying

Thanks for the quotes U_R. They were some of the several hundred that I have piled up on my desk. I was going to go to where she works today and leave a letter in her car. It basically says that I am sorry for causing her to lose her trust in me and to forgive me. Do you or anyone else out there think It would be wise to send some WT quotes to her. It's all from her own literature. I just don't want to push her away any farther. If thats possible. Oh man, I just realized It's Valentines day.

Bro, don't worry about it too much. Get out there and enjoy yourself. Distance yourself from those type of people. You'll find someone in your tavels through life, as long as you're doing what pleases you.

It gets better. Just because she couldn't see the lies, doesn't mean that you can't find a girl that is not JW. Go to parties, join a club, do something....you'll find a nice, normal girl eventually.

    Take it easy,

Maybe you should give it some time. And then be real gentle. Don't make her feel you're pushing her. Don't even mention the WT again. If you ever get together again be a good friend. Show her a good time. Get her interested in things other than religion. If she feels you trying to influence her away from Jehovah you've had my friend.

    Mackey,

What would your life be like if she stayed with you?

To all who are married to dubs......life can be tolerable......or not.

Will you be OK with the fact of no holidays, her not mingling with YOUR friends, her at meetings 3 times a week, no oral sex, her belief that you will be dead soon at armaggedon and her life will be without you in the New System?

What if you had kids? How would they be raised? As JW's? If so, would that cause problems in your marriage?

    Lots to think about.....good luck!

    Mackey,

It's tough and so frustrating. It actually hurts physically. Your heart actually hurts.

You cannot think rationally at the moment. I think Wheelwithinawheel made a very good point:

Maybe you should give it some time. And then be real gentle. Don't make her feel you're pushing her. Don't even mention the WT again. If you ever get together again be a good friend. Show her a good time. Get her interested in things other than religion.

We have a certain pride. If anyone questions a decision we have made on the scale of a life choice, in particularly religion, we get offended. After all, can't you see that I have the TRUTH? My experience is that you can't convince anyone that they are wrong. You must have superhuman patience.

If she really loves you, nothing will stop her from coming back to you. You must wait. Torture, I know. And if and when she does come back, you might be better off not bringing up the topic of religion. If she asks, answer. But make it short and decline to go into it. Live by example. She must convince herself.

Look, she knows what you think by now. If she is reasonable she will see that her religion is wrong, sooner or later. Make it a non-issue. Just be there and love her.

It is difficult, I know but take your time and don't push. However, maintain your own integrity. Don't change for her. Respect yourself.

    Hoping the best for you,

    Marcos

mackey...dude go find a nice worldly girl instead of some idiot woman that would choose delusion over you...yeah it sucks and its hard, but there's plenty of hot young beautiful women in this world that don't come w/their own god stuffed up their ass...you know the whole drill and you've seen the advice that's given people who persue relationships w/JWs...I won't go over it AGAIN... so dude go find someone else and call it good, unless of course you're in to punishment for fun...

    Sincerely,

    District Overbeer
