No. Quite honestly, I believe they are written in a way to fit everyone's circumstances in one way or another. And the descriptions of each sign? Pretty generic. I'm a "Leo", by the way.
And the Witnesses would tell anyone who went to astrology after leaving that they were doing worse than returning to vomit.
That's not what I'm saying, of course. Just my observation that astrology doesn't cut it for ME.

Robyn - I dont know if I believe in the whole astrology thing. The only readings I have ever read up on were the ones in the newspaper. Very generic, I read the other signs and they apply to me just the same.

Nope, not in the forecasts. Although sometimes, like today, it seems to hit me. I do find the personal natal charts interesting though. I had mine done by an impersonal computer and it is pretty darn accurate. Right down to suggesting that I would find radio an interesting career choice. I did radio for 20 years.

Yes I have--quite a few. I have a couple of excellent books, as well as some sites that I enjoy. I think that there are a lot of "generic" horoscopes out there; however, I don't judge my views of them on that. There is a huge variety and amount of astrology information out there that I have found extremely accurate--sometimes to such a point that I want to laugh and/or cry.
I personally feel that my knowledge of astrology has helped me tremendously to understand other people better. I am a pisces, so that's probably a huge part in of itself, but I think that the more we can understand about each other the less we try to judge them or hold them to our own standards. Just my 2 cents and experience.
BTW, what do you think about astrology and horoscopes? Have you ever had a really good reading, or read an in-depth book about it? I hope you have and that you enjoyed it.

Scorpio is the eighth Sign of the Zodiac, and you shouldn't take that lightly. You shouldn'ttake Scorpios lightly, either. Those born under this Sign are dead serious in their mission to learn about others. There's no fluff or chatter for Scorpios, either: these folks will zero in on the essential questions, gleaning the secrets that lie within. They're also complex and secretive, so don't expect to get much out of them, lest they become suspicious and exit stage left. It's best not to bet against Scorpios, either, since these folks are surprisingly resourceful.
Scorpio is ruled by the Planets Mars and Pluto. Mars was the God of War in ancient Roman mythology and is the first (and most ancient) ruler of Scorpio. When Pluto was discovered in the 20th century, it was also assigned to this Sign. Pluto was known as the God of the Underworld in ancient Roman times, so when coupled with Mars, expect some intense energy to head toward Scorpions here on Earth. This planetary combo makes for people who are motivated, penetrating and aware. Scorpions don't miss much, since they are highly attuned to the vibrations of others. They are intuitive, probing and very focused on knowing who's who and what's what. Do you have the Sex Signs book by Judith Bennett? I absolutely LOVE my book--I even gave it out at X-mas this year. Whenever women stop by and the book is out they are immediately drawn to it and are amazed at it's accuracy. (or in the case of one friend, she refused to believe the description, even though it described her to a T)
BTW, I'm a pisces too and we are pretty sexual....

I am not interested much in horoscopes but astrology I find interesting. I have never read a book on it although I have glanced through Linda Goodman's Sun Signs. I have several friends that practice.
As a gift, I received a lovely natal chart from a friend in England. (Thanks Sandra and Arlene) She included things that I have never heard of before like the influence of Charon and nodes. I had to go on line to try to find more info. All in all, this woman was way accurate. Right down to addressing some of the things that were on my mind and she had no way of knowing about. She is easily the best astrologer I have ever dealt with. I enjoyed the experience very much.

Of al l of the signs, Pisces has the most active sexual fantasy life. Rather surprising for a sign known for its romanticism, but in a good relationship a Piscean makes love with no holds barred. Making love in or near water is a huge turn on for them, and as such the bathroom is a particularly erotic place. Fountains, waterfalls, rivers, lakes and the sea also do the trick, with the added bonus of being pretty scenery for the Piscean imagination to play with.
