I have no doubt that what the Branch IS checking is whether the brother is on the WTS "non-existent" accused child molester database.
Absolutely, positively, 110% the case, by all means, YES.
THAT'S what we need leaked!

I am so alarmed by this. One more nail in the coffin of the WTBTS.
These are supposedly people selected by the Holy Spirit. And the wife cannot help other sisters as to not spend her energy?! Yet they admonish from the pulpit to help others as much as we can?!
Fake ass jerks. Unreal!!!

Chapter 19:
7. What can be done when a circuit overseer observes a single sister in need of spiritual assistance? If she is younger and still living at home with her believing parents, they are responsible to provide the needed spiritual guidance. If she is of age and no longer living at home, the elders in her congregation should be taking the lead
in offering needed direction. If the circuit overseer feels it would be helpful, he may provide the parents or the elders with suggestions on how to assist the sister spiritually. In harmony with the inspired counsel at Titus 2:3-5, it may be that the circuit overseer’s wife could help single sisters, depending on the circumstances. Of course, he
would not want to encourage her to place herself in a situation with a sister who is experiencing complex problems that would drain his wife’s time and energies.—See 23:4.
What a cold cult.
Of course, he would not want to encourage her to place herself in a situation with a sister who is experiencing complex problems that would drain his wife’s time and energies.
Of course not! She has far more important things to take care of, like, cooking his food, ironing his shirts, cleaning the bathroom, and so on. Cant have her wasting her time actually helping people with "complex problems." Priorities, people!
As far as the co's wife went, they never built up anyone. The cos and their wives always worked with the elders and their wives only. Never the publishers. Never! The elders wives would butt kiss them non-stop on top of having their meals prepared for them. And never ever ever did the co's wives sit in on the pioneer meetings. They always stayed in their apartments attached to the back of the kingdom halls. And never did the co come and visit us when we stopped going to our meetings.
However, the one year we gave a decent donation and the po wanted to make hubby an elder. So the next co visit, they had hubby doing a couple of the ministry school parts. That was the same night hubby walked off the stage right after his part and handed his key for the hall over to him and told him he didn't want it anymore nor to do the literature counter anymore. Hubby also had a crack at balancing the accounts since the elder told him he didn't want to do it. Hubby at that time was only in the troof for one year. This is such a joke!
pixel summed it up perfectly, "what a cold cult."
And they wonder why they had to print a brochure on returning to the cult (I mean Jehovah).
Narcissists will NEVER admit it is them. NEVER!
The bit about "counterbalancing" past wrongs with a sufficiently convincing record of righteousness (listener's post) is just shocking for any organization that claims to be christian. What happened to forgive and forget? What happened to god's forgiveness making a scarlet sin as white as snow? Not here. In the JW cult you have to wait until everyone in the congregation can't remember, however hard they may try, what you did wrong. If the congregation remembers a past "sin" then you can't be an elder/MS. Shouldn't they be focusing on teaching the flock forgiveness instead of punishing a man for a sin that god has supposedly already forgiven?
Isn't it impossible for us sinful humans to "counterbalance" our sins? That's what the entirety of chistianity is based on - that we can't make up for our sins so we need jesus. This just goes to show yet again that they are nothing even close to the "true" christians they claim to be
