  Some here confuse Nephilim with their fallen angels fathers.Nephilim were the offspring of fallen angels and women.

  Why they didn't materialise as women? Good question, God describes himself as a male and so it seems that his angels do too. The Bible never says that any of them materialised as women and there is no account in any of the apocrypha of such materialisation.

  "Materialization" is closer to 20th century science fiction than anything the actual writers would have believed.

  --Not trying to be argumentative. It's just confusing when xjw's treat a JW belief as established science and then use it as a springboard for further reasoning.

The details have changed over time and what we have left, that is, what was written down in the last few hundred (or in the case of the Bible, a couple of thousand years) may only record a portion of the original story. In most cases they represent some inherently needed compulsion of humans. Carl Jung called them archetypes.

  The presentation of the fallen angels being only male and wanting human women, in my view, is a projection of the fears of the people of the time period.

  With that introduction, let’s evaluate the theory that the nephilim are the offspring of fallen angels and human females. The very concept goes utterly against the Genesis 1 Divine Law that all creatures must reproduce via male-female unions within the same Genesis “kind.” Man-kind and angel-kind are not of the same Genesis “kind;” therefore, they cannot reproduce via any kind of sexual union. Also, Jesus taught that angels do not marry at all in the heavenly realm (Matthew 22:30), nor is there the slightest biblical evidence that they can reproduce baby angels. When a portion of the angels followed Lucifer and rebelled vs. God and were hurled back to earth (Isaiah 14:13-14, Luke 10:18, Jude 6), it is impossible that the fallen angels would suddenly gain a new power (to reproduce with human females) that they did not have prior to their fall and dis-empowerment. No angel (righteous or fallen) has any DNA or any human sperm in their bodies to fertilize an egg, so the entire idea of angelic-human reproductive unions is a non-starter. It can “happen” in Greek mythology or in science fiction, but not in the real world.

  There is nowhere in the Bible where it says that angels can not procreate, in fact in the book of Jubilees it says that they not only proctreated with human women but also crossbreed with animals( see Animal Apocalypse)

  Just because we do not procreate in heaven in the future that doesn't necessary apply to angels procreating before the Flood.

  My personal take on this subject

  The demons are the Nephilim survivors of the Great Flood. Because they had a spirit component to their existence, they drowned and died a corporeal death but the spirit part of them lived on. At the time of their physical deaths there would have been adult Nephilim and child Nephilim around.

  It's hard to imagine that the fallen angels, who were basically universe and planet builders, playing games with humans and scaring them - this behavior is much more likely to be Nephilim spirits or what are called demons. It would explain why they are obsessed with possessing people - so they can feel what it is like to be a human again.

  I remember reading somewhere that angel-women procreation also produced females but the gestational time was much shorter for Nephilim males and these mothers-to-be were celebrated because they were wives of the gods. When the thoughts of men became bad all the time, and after the 120 year decree, the angels decided to create a new species of human to prove that humans were worthy of existence by copulating among themselves. Materialized male angels and materialized female angels produced offspring but these children were born retarded and could not comprehend their existence.
