Yeah, definitely - lifetime ban and maximum fine. Also kick out the team for a season because they bear some responsibility - I don't believe people like that are 'unknown' to the team, they hired him anyway, they should suffer because of it.

Yes, but 2 wheels spinning at that speed (the top of the tire is going almost 300 mph), are very stabilizing, (if the aggressor really tried to squeeze the brake handle only , and not jerk the bar). There are videos of bikes going on for a long way without a rider in the saddle.
You have to be slightly insane to race on 2 wheels. so this is just one notch up, trying to win at all cost. keep him them off the roads, the trails.

This asshole better not cross MY path.
My 21 yo son was in a motocross race where he attempted to pass the leader. The more experienced leader forced my son into a tree where he crashed and died. For his family's sake, I am glad this rider was not injured or worse!

3rdgen, I ride mx as well and raced junior 125 up here back in the day. That is horrible am so sorry for your son.. yes on the road racer being banned, dirty racing !
