Morris is very subdued, not his normal smug self. He looks stressed. I agree with those that mentioned the heat is on for the org. Lots of questions, letters and phone calls. The natives are getting restless.

Remember last Novembers zone meeting? I believe that talk by Morris started a fire they can't control.

    Karma is a bit**.

    Modern day version.....

And the gentiles came and complained because their widows and orphans were being overlooked in the daily distribution.

So the 12 disfellowshipped them for apostasy and told them that Jehovah would fix the situation in time and that obedience was more important to him than to look after your widows.

    -----------

Second point - what the hell? we are not dogmatic blah blah blah BUT if you want Jehovah's blessings you should follow what we say.

Governed by God???? Why didn't Geoff Jackson say that at the Royal Commission - that would be presumptuous wouldn't it.

Unbelievable - nice one GB - communism is alive and well here! I can imagine the minions knodding furiously.

Never discount the possibility of some unknown, internal power struggle between the GB and their underlings. Maybe a branch committee is giving "The Slave" some push-back? WHO Knows?!

ToMo being dogmatic about not being dogmatic - classic ToMo.

Also, "the slave is a composite slave" ???..... Really, Tone, really?

Tony, Tony, you old dogmatic you 😉

Why do they keep mentioning Apostates , "opposers and Apostates like you

to believe the FDS is dogmatic". We are getting on their last nerve, you guys are

a pain in the butt for the FDS.LOL

If the rank and file were one big happily unified bunch of dedicated followers of JW organization, there'd be no need for the frequent warnings from JW.org, would there?

Thank you AMIII for bringing us up to date with the state of play in JW organization.

Expect even more of these "Anthony Apologetics" as time passes.

    Contradictions abound.

First, we are told that we should not follow "dogma or mans directions", then we are told to "follow the directions" from the org....because its from god.

But we were also told that "it would be presumptious to say we speak for god"...

They would have been better off just ignoring the issues raised during the RC...by attempting to combat the issues, they now look even sillier....

I wonder if they are preparing for a decrease. hey can blame it on people not being obedient enough to the "Faithful Slave".

Just to clarify the SEEMING contradiction.

(Most of the text is on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/exjw/comments/3lu936/transcription_of_anthony_morris_iiis_new_jw/ )

Now we have apostates and... opposers that would... like God's people to think that the Faithful Slave is dogmatic. And they expect uh you to accept everything that comes out from headquarters... as if it's... dogma. Arbitrarily... decided. Well, this does not apply.

"This does not apply." You are not asked to accept everything from HQ.

if you want Jehovah's blessing on you as uh an individual or a family, certainly as a elder or a congregation, it'd be best to just ask Jehovah to help you understand it, but obey, the decision.

So, you are not asked to ACCEPT everything, but you are required to OBEY everything.

I like the way AM#3 just dismisses everything about the Governing Body being dogmatic as not applying and the end of the matter. The guy is a complete and utter ass hole!
