I considered what to do for the first memorial after my own dissf'ing (which I deliberately set up forcing them to do it).....decided to buy some wine and make my own unleavened bread.....

But funny thing....it gradually began to dawn on me that it wasn't really necessary to partake anymore....I was free at last, my salvation had come, I could now have a life....and if you look at all the problems, growing in number as we post, that are being "aired" media-wise against the WTBS....I feel it's pretty safe to say that "suddenly destruction"....IS...."upon them"....It looks like that's the way the ball's bouncing to me....just hope I'm not guilty of premature articulation.

What a crack up this all would be. Slurp up all the wine and grab the Unleavened crackers and gobble them down!!!

I really laugh at the mental picture but don't recommend it. As others stated it would only verify in the minds of the dubs, that all us apostates are nuts. I rather enjoy being a little nuts. Don't you??

When I was about 7 yrs " a looooong time ago" we lived in a little town in western Oregon. All the local jw cong. could afford was a little hall above a rather low class saloon.

One night a very inebriated gentleman climbed the stairs and sat down in the back. He drew everyones attention but he sat there listening.

Suddenly he jumped to his feet and YELLED HALELUJA at the top of his lungs. He was promptly grabbed and thrown out of the hall. He had the most confused look on his face. He thought that he was contributing positivly to the sermon. As it is done in some religions and for this he was thrown out. Quickly and unceremoniously. I wonder what he told others about this incident?

I've said this before, but I feel very strongly about this point. If one is no longer a JW, than do we have any business disrupting the Memorial in anyway. I find a certain amount of humor in stories of disrupting Kingdom Hall proceedings, the same way I feel when watching a sitcom on TV. But deep down inside, I have a deep sense of discomfort knowing that instead of working to rid ourselves of the bonds the WTBTS placed on us, some have chosen instead to engage in pointless acts of childish revenge.
I have spent many years in therapy, a good portion of it working on JW issues. One thing my therapist repeatedly reminds me of is that "Living well is the best revenge." Don't we owe it to ourselves and our loved ones, to heal the pain. If someone goes to the hall and partakes in what they would consider an unanointed state, especially if it is done in a disruptive way, could this be considered the same as starting a flame war on the board and will this make you an approachable person for someone perhaps looking to get out of the organization. I cannot see how this helps others to see that there is sanity and life outside of the organization. Instead, I fear, it will only serve to let those inside the org, be able to point outside the org and say "see, we told you that those who leave are "like pigs rolling in the mire, and dogs returning to their vomit" to quote thier analogy.
This is only my thought. I know I am sounding very serious, but I feel it is a serious issue. My personal belief is Live and Let Live. I respect your right to live your life as you see fit, and expect you to do the same.
All I am asking is give it some thought before engaging in any actions which could backfire.

I believe that by causing such a disruption would be very rude. rather funny, but rude.

I would never dream of going to someone else's church and do anything that would be considered disrespectable or disruptive. I would do everything I knew to show as much respect to their beliefs as possible at least while in their place of worship

Do you not realize that you could sue that brother for assault??!! it doesn't matter if it's a place of business or a place of worship. No one is to lay one finger on you with force. If someone shoplifts in a store the manager is not to PHYSICALLY prevent you from leaving. He can lock the door or stand in your way but he can not physically grab you and prevent you from leaving.You can say that brother damaged your shoulders or your rotator cuffs and sue him. I would think about that seriously.
