Jack I have a non jw friend who shares that she regularly receives "signs" from her deceased father. If you want you can p.m. me your email and I can pass it along to her.

Hi Jack....hahahaha hijack....sorry...I'm hijacking the thread.

    Seriously,

After Death Communications from the Jehovah Witness Community

Did you want to ask actual JWs? If you do, they'll say they don't believe in those things.

Are you asking we ex-JWs? If so you'll get all sorts of answers.

My answer, as an ex-JW is: No. Never experienced a thing.

I experienced a 'thing' when a relative died - I knew the exact second that she passed, even though I wasn't anywhere near her at the time. I can't explain it (other than by making up a story that fits what I want to believe).

I also saw a man saw a woman clean in half, and she was fine afterwards. I can't explain that either. I saw someone walk on water (OK, I can explain that). I saw someone make the statue of liberty disappear. I looked at a drawing of some lines on a piece of paper and they started spinning. I've had a couple of premonitions that came true (and probably several thousand that haven't, but I don't remember those).

Well Jack..... Some people are satisfied with just a face to face Explanation......it sounds like you're looking for confirmation bias.

Estrella could have gone into a second hand Buddhist book shop where all the books have photos of Buddhist men and it was probable a book displayed a photo of a man that looked similar.

This is another possibility Jack. Would you not agree?

You don't want facts just stories

One of my relatives friends died and my relative owned a bar. Shortly after the death on several occasions he would come down to the bar area and find a pint of his friends favourite drink on the bar although he had cleared up everything the night before; he lived alone at the establishment.

You need to read up on hallucinations. Many people get them after a loved one dies. It's all in the brain.

But you dont want to know that do you, you want to believe the fantasy instead, otherwise you'd have already read about it and worked out it's all in the mind.

The same relative also related to me that one night he went to the bathroom in the early hours of the morning and someone came out of the bathroom and disappeared down the hallway.
