I was just wondering has anybody noticed that there's not as many threads being posted since the new forum was put in place? I only get to come to the forum on the weekends so i have really noticed this and wonder why? Is it just me not being able to find them or are there really less topics being posted. I am not a big poster but love reading all of the threads. LOL.
Has anybody noticed...?

Good morning Chach,
I believe it is the fact that some are still having problems with the forum. If not mistaken, the forum does not work well with netscape, so that knocks out a few. Also too, web tv does not work with the forum either.
Simon said he is working on all the gliches and hopefully soon all will be well here on the forum and everyone will be back to posting as normal.

Wildhorses hi
Thank you for the reply. that explains it a bit. I thought it was me being a little stupid, and not able to find them all.

I noticed the same thing. Less people post, and much less answer.
I wonder if I'm starting stupid threads, or is everyone gone to mass.
Although this site is superior to the other one, some prefer the other one. It's like an old pair of shoes, that feel good.

Topics and posts are down a bit but only slightly. I know some people are still having problems and I'm still trying to get everyone sorted out.
Because the format of the software has changes, it does can look a bit less busy. An example is not having the 'viewed count' so you only see the lower post count numbers. Also, because of how the active topics fills up, it doesn't shuffle down all the previous pages like it used to which affects your perception of it.
Also, the atmosphere on the board has been more friendly of late. Whatever the reason (perhaps the posting guidelines?), I can happily live without as many flame threads.
Traffic wise, we're about as busy as ever but now thankfully, without using up the bandwidth that it used to!
Last, but not least, there are some posters who have neglected, nay "abandoned" their keyboards and gone off partying ... we'll form a committee to discuss their service report when they return

Aye that we did. And although I looked damned sexy in me kilt, Little Toe stole the show.

Been there
I for one have been having a really hard time posting stuff so I have'nt been until all the kinks are worked out. I either lose them or double them
I also am not seeing new posts. It was hours this morning and nothing. Then all of a sudden there is two new pages. I know things slow down but nothing new since last night? I'm just not getting new posts. I'm going crazy......................

chachasmum,
I've been trying to post for ages, I don't have my origional password, as when Simon changed to the the new site, I couldn't login!
Anyway, I' ve opened a new account albeit temporarily, until Simon sorts me out with my old password.
Hope that explains a couple of things!

Just thought I'd report back from the party ... life is good . I had a my first date in several years last night. I went 3 days without turning on my home computer last week. I'll be back in a month or so with another update.
