Steven Unthank and his work.

Hi everyone,

I have been trying really hard to find the court case transcript where Steven Unthank was in court in Australia and one of the WT lawyers or a WT spokesperson said the Faithful and Discreet Slave does not exist.

I hope that this is correct I remember reading about this a long while back and would love to get evidence of this.

I found Steven on Facebook and messaged him about 6 months ago and he didn't respond, he probably wants to let all this go, and I don't blame him for that.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Hi WGO , I think you will find that they didnt say it didnt exist what they did say was it was a" Theocratic arrangement " that could be made up of different members of the Governing Body at any given time.

Theirfore no particular individuals of themselves were the Faithful & Discreet Slave .

yeah, something to the effect that it was a theological construct and not a legal entity.

Smiddy I think the statement was more telling then that maybe not as strong as whatsgoingon stated but pretty strong.

There was also a comment by the wt lawyers that the wt society does not have members. and, that there is no requirement by elders, servants or anyone for jw to record their hours. In both cases 'members' and hours the wt said this was people doing their individual mission.

These comments by the wt lawyers got the biggest "Huh?" from all the witnesses in the public gallery.

I did have records of this but my then computer blew up (thanks Microsoft) and that information and a lot of others was lost.

I've been looking for those documents for years. How do we contact Steve Unthank? Someone has to know exactly what was said in Court.

I believe all the legalistic phraseology was from the mouths of Vincent Tool and Solicitors? Does that sound correct? This was years ago, so I can't remember.

I would love copies of those transcripts. You would think they would be easy to find....
