  Hi all,

  Once again, my wife left some of her WT literature within easy reach of yours truly, ostensibly in the hope that I'll pick it up and reappraise. It's bookmarked with the current week's study material; anf frankly, if anything can reinforce my inclination to stay away, it's this drivel. Does it not dawn on any of these that all this hallucinogenic blather about 1918, 1919, 1922, etc. is totally bereft of a shred of objective evidence?

  And the illustration on Page 260 was chilling: staring back at me from that page were the cadaverous faces of the leaders to whom JWs the world over have surrendered total control of their lives and those of their children Scary indeed.

  Yep its scary! That photo is creepy too, the guy in the cream coat looks just like the heavens gate leader! And the indian woman at the bottom with a hat on, she wears one FAKE smile.

  Since when was Emperor Hirohito a JW??????? That guy in the cream suit, Mr Denturefix, he's waiting for the spaceship for sure! :)

  The Indian woman at the bottom left does indeed look like she's forcing that 'smile'. I've seen amny pics over the years in the publications in which the subjects don't look happy, or at least they don't smile like they mean it.

  The most scary aspect about this is that these men, the governing body, literally have the life, death, and general welfare of millions of people in their hands and that down to the single individual witness, each will emphatically swear that there are no leaders in the Watchtower.

  If these men would simply ask witnesses to forego their proper education, a reasonable standard of living, and in some cases sacrifice their very lives and the lives of their children the rank and file witness would do so without hesitation. And how do we know this? Because so many already have!

  Disturbing indeed.

  I know the three old guys to the right are George Gangas, John Booth, and of course Fred Franz, but who is that guy in the cream suit to the far left, anyway? I wonder if the two smiling African women are aware of the Society's past comments on black people? That woman with the fake smile doesn't look very indian to me.

  As I type, now my wife is at her group study, perhaps yours is too. It is sad that loved ones are so sincere in following something so very wrong .

  Come to think of it I used to conduct such studies. I knew that prophetic fulfillments could never be proven (eg, Revelation book) but I reasoned that since I accepted all the other things to my then satisfaction, I could take those bits on trust

  Objective thinking, I am afraid , hardly comes into it.

  Funny JESUS said for EVERYONE to be on the watch not a group of false Ph's. After you read RAYMOND FRANZ'S BOOKS you know that the WTS can do no more harm to you and to your future children that may come along AMEN.
