I went to the Memorial. I enjoyed the part when it was over and I went home.

I went to the Memorial too,for my elderly mother. I know she is hurt I am no longer active. So,I can give her an hour.

It was crowded,because they have new members from a merged congregation. So,we had to sit in the foyer,which I was quite happy about, And I received some friendly greetings. I get anxious attending,but it wasn't as bad as I had thought. Although,I prefer the older Memorial songs. The new ones have no melody,in my opinion.

And it was supposed to be about Jesus,but they mainly focused on paradise and having a pet bear for the children. Yeah,kids they promised me a pet lion,but 40 years later,and still no pet lion.

When inactive ones attend the Memorial,they mainly do it to please their relatives. But,I bet the Witnesses think,some may start going back to meetings. Where as I, can not stand any religion. If it works for you,great,but I don't even know if I believe in God anymore,yes,I still capitalized,lol.

Scotty visits every so often and tries to get a rise out of the members here. He’s been doing it for years. He knows he would never be acceptable to the Witnesses because of his lifestyle. But he comes here to get people going. Nothing has changed about his methods. But he’s fun to banter with .

I wonder how they would have enjoyed having me explain, in German, why I no longer believe that the religion is the truth. Nor do I believe that the LIE-ble is anything but a curse on the whole planet. Worse yet, if I were to attend another boasting session and they make the mistake of calling on me to comment or to do any assignment, I will simply make that comment in German (and against the whole LIE-ble) or refuse the assignment, again in German (it wastes their time if they can't find anyone that understands it).

Perhaps they had better count their blessings that I did not attend this wastefest.

Probably not a popular opinion on here.... however thoroughly enjoy listening to Kim Jong encouraging his people. It’s good to see lots of people love him and of course this can only mean one thing---Kim Jong-un is really a genuine person who has nothing but the best intentions for his friends, relatives and the people.

When he Kim Jong-un talks, the whole atmosphere was one of love. Sure if I suddenly wanted to become a member of his party and didn't change my lifestyle as an American, He would drop me like a bomb.....however I haven't and won't and He didn't and don't. This works for me.
