LOLS, wow, eerily I have had the exact same conversation with my jw years ago when he joined up. Almost verbatim. Now we don't discuss jw things and life is much better. Though mine did mention a go bag awhile back.

In one paragraph the Bible Teach books says that all in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and be resurrected.
In the next paragraph or so, they say that not everyone will be resurrected.
ding, the WTS explains this by saying that not every one will be remembered (memorial tombs) by god; such as those who went to eternal destruction when they died, e.g., Adam and Eve, perhaps Cain, the people who died in the flood, the peopled who died at Sodom and Gomorrah. Of course, no one individual jw or group really, knows who is in god's memory or whose isn't. This is an end run or waffle by the WTS.

WHO WILL NOT BE RESURRECTED ACCORDING TO THE WTS?
As I understand it:
Adam and Eve (had their chance)
Those destroyed in the flood, Sodom (no need to destroy them twice)
The wicked who die and are not in their memorial tombs. (won't be remembered)
Those who die at Armageddon (whether they have heard about Jehovah or not)
However if these same people die before the GT and the Big A, they will be resurrected and have a chance to work for eternal life during the 1000 year reign.

Did you know that traditional Christadelphian teaching is that only baptised believers (of their version of Christianity) will be resurrected? Billions of humans who never heard the Christadelphian message will never be resurrected and will never get a chance at salvation. On the other hand, baptised Christadelphians who leave the religion and later die, will get a resurrection and another chance, despite having left the religion.

Among these would be the unrepentant scribes and Pharisees who rejected Jesus and the apostles, the religious “man of lawlessness,” and anointed Christians “who have fallen away.” (2 Thessalonians 2:3; Hebrews 6:4-6; Matthew 23:29-33) Jesus also spoke of goatlike people at the world’s end who go into “the everlasting fire prepared for the Devil and his angels,” namely, “everlasting cutting-off.” (Matthew 25:41, 46) No resurrection for these!
