this morning ; in the rain what do i see? from a block away it's 3 jw's holding up their idol under their umberella's . i stop. they give me 2 mag's i give them $.10 cents. we talk. i'm setting them up but they don't know it. they ask if i read the wt , i tell them that i find them interesting. one says it's from jehovah. oh really how do you know that? well it's all in the bible,just read . the mag' s it comes from jehovah. i'm ready to explode, but i let them go on .. so i now ask do the jw's really follow the bible. they say YES.. ALL OF IT . they say yes. they start talking about jesus. i'm still playing stupid. them one invites me to the MEMORIAL. i say i've heard of that but i never been to one, it must be beautiful.. they all say oh yea.. so you follow the bible and the words of jesus?? of course we do. so that is what all jw's do at the MEMORIAL? they say OH YES..!!!! I'M STILL PLAYING stupid. but out comes my bible. i say lets reflect on the words of jesus ok, they say that's great. i get them to get out their bibles i say turn to john chapter 6 . lets read together. they are so stupid they go along. they are eating it up, icould have busted them in the first 30 verses, but i made them keep reading. i make a point of all the verses that jesus said he is food from heaven . he that eats the food from heaven will never die , he that does not eat the body and blood of jesus ,has no life. . i mean i'm really highlighting john 6:40-70 with them. they love it.. then i drop the BOMB. SO if i come to the memorial we are all going to follow jesus and partake. well they panicked. and i was the one getting wet in the rain. so i said i guess the jw's don't really follow the bible. as they were walking away, I reread jn 6:66 after the diciples heard jesus words to eat his body and drink his blood , many walked away.... just as you jw's do.

sf; all my posts about encounters with jw's. are all TRUE. for 30 years all i heard every day was the jw's this and the wt that. from my jw dad. in fact deep in my mind i thought he was right. till i got separated from my wife. And went to stay at dad's house. well like a good jw he tried with all of my problems are because i never became a jw. well i was out of work , and out of a wife. so the bible did not seem so bad. you know how the jw's present it. it started with easy questions, about some wt 's in 2000 like how emily was so blessed for quiting her job as an exective sect. to become a full pioneer. then i got into how come grandma who lived to 95 years old. died in 1995 did not see armageddon. as i heard my dad tell her for years. at first he shut my mouth fast with a few verses. but he pressed and brought around other jw's i've known for years. for a few months they always backed me into a corner. i had no knowledge. but i did research on 1914, and the pitch i heard 1000 times about the generation of 1914 being the last. well after one trip to the public library and one hour on the internet. dad was in hot water. boy were my eyes opened. i went back to the library almost every day. for months. . dad hated when i came home every day . because what ever wt defense he gave, i would look it up the next day. to make a long story short, dad brought out all the jw heavies from the cong. and one by one i gave them all more than they ever heard of. it was the jw's that taught me how to use their own words to condemn them. so i would lamblast all the jw's in co-op city bx. as they did to me for years. and then tell them get the elders to prove me wrong. at the kh library. so when i see jw's thatr don't know me i stop my truck and plant some seeds. i give them a taste of their own medicine, and they don't like it. but when i keep my head i hope it helps ,some... john

I remember someone in my old cong said that they had called on a door on FS and asked if they knew who the JW's were and the person replied that we were the people that stood on street corners group praying under lamposts. Just thought I would add that as I thought it was funny !

You actually stop the truck?! Ha! Good again! I like your style johnny. They were in my hood this week. I just got home and they were ready to leave territory. Darn! They all (men only; no sisters....wonder which one was the 'predator' being chaperoned?) took one look at me and got in their cars and left. That is the re-action I hope to achieve, and this time, it was quick! Now, had I actually been here as the entered the territory, I'd have been at their car before they could move. Need I say more?
John, do you, uh, yahoo? If so, the 'jw room' (the title varies) will be a choice delight for you if you indeed like to bring the jws to their 'spiritual knees', so to speak.

sf; i drive a truck for a living in bronx n.y.c. so i'm all over the place. i have had some good talks with jw's. and arguements. either way if the ratio is 1 in 100. might learn something. i give it a shot. if i get them to leavwe the train station and go home and give up for the day . thats good also. if they call me a lair ,the wt never printed that. i give them my phone # and tell them to call me tonight. i will give them the wt date and page. them we can go to the kh library and check.. the child molesters are a point i like to tell the sisters. glad to see the jw's run when they see you. try confronting them when you see them in fs at a train sta. or mall etc. sure you can get them to leave with a few ?s . what i like is sometimes while working the jw's on the street. some christian will stop and beat them up from another angle. it is like a tag team lol. i haven't yahooed yet i will try to find it. or you can give me the link. i will tag team them with you. john
