  Blind guides is what they are. I think that GB will start to wake up soon when they come to realise that all versions and interpretation of Bible prophecy is completely useless. What on earth is the point of learning a prophecy if it has no benefit in warning people to avoid the dangers of events to come?

  There is not one recorded event in the 140 year life of the Watchtower religion when prophecy has been of the slightest use to anyone.

  No! I'm wrong, I am wrong....... prophesying that 1975 was the likely date for Armageddon brought millions of superstitious new JWs into the fold. They brought not only an upsurge in weekly contributions but they came loaded with family inheritances bequeathed in favour of the organisation and made it very rich.

  So in conclusion, prophecy is a very lucrative business for the leaders of religions but utterly useless for their flock. (so don't be a sheep)

  You didn't list specifically what they are implicitly predicting. It would be nice to see that as well if you can.

  Just finished reading through that WT. It's the first time I've read one since leaving 4 years ago.

  What strikes me straight away is how outlandish their claims are, very little evidence presented and what "evidence" they present is circular reasoning or confirmation bias.

  The horns represent Britain, Spain, France and the Netherlands? Really Watchtower? Any evidence for that? Any at all?..............................................

  How I ever beleived this sh*te evades me.

  Well, they're making a big bet, it sounds like 1975 again.

  Tons of 'nu light' like, encompassing just 1870 to the present for the North and the South kings, for example, the king of the South 'caused ruin' when they used the atomic bomb....

  ONU as usually destroys false religion but is the king of the North and others that attack the JW at last. Already they think that the prophecy about the "land of decoration" is fulfilled when the Borg got proscribed and their buildings confiscated in Russia.

  Also they are thinking about an enigmatic "hard hitting message of judgment" Could it happen that they deliver it and stop preaching? Who knows.

  They seem to be ratcheting the pressure......I wonder how the RF gonna react.

  They don't know anything about what they are talking about, or at least they do not want anyone to think they do. One day, it's one thing. The next, it's something totally different. And they are supposed to be the absolute authority in this book of lies? I know more about it than any of the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger, since I believe the whole thing is a bunch of lies intended to create a reality where all the earth is enslaved by the reptilians. What the washtowel does is creates confusion and dependence, which helps with this agenda.

  Its interesting how they say what MAY happen. Thats a long way from the old days when so many prophesies were put out as fact. They have already said prophesy can be best understood after it happens lol. In other words they will look at some event, and decide if it can be included in some prophesy. For instance if the corona virus got completely out of control and killed hundreds of thousands of people they would then include it in what Jesus said about pestilences in Mathew 24. If it becomes controllable, then they wont be talking about it as prophesy at all.

  So different from years ago, when we studied types and antitypes, foreshadows, etc.....and were led to believe that such material was assured and definite. Now it seems to be driftng into realms of speculation and hedging bets. Perhaps the passing of time has defeated them....

  We had types, antitypes, mistypes, type, types and a half type, and every event or group had a type.

  Now we are typeless.

  Don't you miss the good old days when in our minds it all somehow made sense?
