How the Bible disproves the JWs' 1914 invisible presence doctrine.

Interesting points. However, the way the bible states how Jesus presence will be is so vague that religions like JWs can capitalize on its vagueness to create their own twist on what it means. Just as the lightning comes out from the east to the west - is that figurative or literal? Can that light only be seen by those with spiritual eyes? -

JWs can capitalize on its vagueness
That is what you see and what do you know?

Most JWs today aren't even aware that the WTS under C T Russell first proclaimed that Jesus returned invisibly in 1874 and that 1914 was going to be the time of Armageddon.
Is that amateur bible theology or tainted commercialized fraudulent theology ?

Yes, but since when do witnesses need facts or the bible to prove doctrine? -

I was just discussing this excellent thread with my wife. During our last convention in 2014 we were perplexed by the constant mention of '100 years of Christ's rule'.
We had always been told Jesus would reign for 1000 years post armageddon. If he has in fact already reigned for 100 years then that would only leave 900 years providing the big A came that year. Seems like the orgs writers are getting confused on this whole 1914 and Christ's reign business.

The second coming of Jesus Christ happened in the first century. -

My younger brother is an elder & we talk from time to time. Of all the signs given by Jesus identifying the "last days" the frequency of earthquakes should be one easily seen. Yet, with all scientific evidence available to the contrary, he insists on it being true. He's an intelligent person who forsook higher education. He's now in his sixties, had to apply for his social security early & drives a school bus part time to make ends meet. He has no retirement. Such a waste of a brilliant mind. It's frustrating to see the clear points made in discussions like this continually fall on deaf ears. -

Lets face the facts and reality here the WTS under C T Russell and the following leaders of the WTS devised doctrines that would draw attention to the literature they published themselves.
Doctrines were structured around the proliferation of those pieces of literature and to become a good standing member of this organization you had to be fully supportive to those devised doctrines, 1914 being one of them.
There is and has been a lot of internal corruption within the WTS and its devoted members the JWS, one supports the other in other words.
Would Jehovah honestly be supportive to this tainted commercialization of the Gospel and redeeming false prophets ? Hardly if one is to uphold the bible's own information and instruction by Jesus himself .
The real pertinent question remains, who then has been supportively involved with false religion or teachings ?
