Well, not too long ago I rubbed it in the face of an old JW friend that because I was viewed so negatively for my full-time-job that I won’t give money to Jehovah’s Witnesses..Let all the so-called ‘spiritual’ people give money.
Well it's as simple as this: The R&F JW just has to stop giving them money. Period. My elderly mother got pissed off as the Caleb & Sophia video that said Sophia should send her ice cream money to the Society. She hasn't given a dime since that came out. It wasn't the "reason". It was the final straw. She has been pissed off for years about the Circuit Assembly account report always need 10's of 1,000s of dollars for a one day assembly at an assembly hall that was paid for decades ago.
I think the WTS/GB does not realize the subtle impact these little things are having. Eventually there is the "final straw" and after that the "domino effect".

It is unbelievable that they need a circuit overseer to audit every congregations books that he visits. There is no bible principle to establish such a focus on materialism. The org. does not trust the Elders in financial matters so why are they trusting them in much more life altering situations? Why doesn't the CO, at the very least, review JCs?

Because the WTS wants the decision of JCs to be that of only the LOCAL BOE. if there becomes any reason for a disgruntled JW to sue, they want the liability to fall on ONLY the local BOE.
Do you really think any true JWs are here? I doubt it very much. If they have a lot of doubts and are looking maybe but every kool aid drinker I ever knew would shut you down if you even looked like you were talking trash about the cult. No I don't believe they are here.

If the CO's began to review all the JC's, there would be more disfellowhippings. There are many congregations where elders mishandle cases or don't handle them at all. CO's are hardlines and would ensure people don't get mercy.
A prime example of this is India, where hordes of elders are now being deleted for not handling cases.
@ Toby - I was a "true" and zealous JW until recent years, but I started coming here when I began to realise that Watchtower truths and Bible truths were not the same thing - and crucially - I wasn't allowed to discuss such things with fellow JW's.
I hope and believe that other JW's who likewise seek answers to questions they dare not ask in their KH, will come to sites like this and ask for answers to their questions.
Fall guy, but you started to have doubts first. I was saying that JWs who are still true believers will not look at anything critical of the cult. When they start to have doubts on the teachings is when they will start to look at information other than what the cult gives them. I can not say it never happens but I doubt its much. When you think you have the truth and you believe that sites like this are demon driven you run from them.
