  In my opinion, the U.S. was founded as a prototype of governance. It was functional until it wasn’t. The rise of grievance politics destroyed the norms that used to pacify and masses. Social media weaponized voices and it became a free for all, everyone having a say.

  Fink, I don't disagree with your DT comment but the culture wars have existed since the founding of the country. DT has exploited it to get into power and that power is now collapsing on itself.
