Something more than physical life.

Most every night, where I work I transport dead persons to the morgue. Others I work with have told me that around 3:00am they hear voices in the morgue.

I asked them have they experienced something more than physical life? Just the voices inside the cold morgue. Did you go inside and check it out? No!

So, here I go again, what to make of this? I don't hear any voices even when I go to check it out and wait around awhile. I'm talking about professional persons in the health care industry.

I have no evidence that there is something more than the realm of time and space and matter ,something more than physical life.

Now I'm not asking about what is written in all the various books out there. Have you experience conclusively, personally something like this that you can't explain.

I know it's asking about anecdotal personal accounts, hearsay rather than hard facts. I would still like to hear your story if you want to share it.

I'm 74 years old and have never had any anecdotal experience that would convince me that there is something more than physical life as we live it.

    Thanks for sharing. Blueblades

People who feel ordinary and or have nothing much to say on their own often like to have a story to tell and they even start believing them after they've told them long enough.

These stories are always fear based. If they're going to hang around after death, why is it that the spirits in these stories never do anything fun like go to the beach or to Disneyland? They always lurk about in dark lonely places....the same places they were afraid of when they were alive.

Billions of people have lived and died on this earth. It seems like there's been enough of them that have come and gone that we'd all have had at least one encounter with a lingering spirit, in our own lifetime.

I wouldn't say this except online but on rare occasions, real late at night, if I'm sleep-deprived and want to sleep but can't I might hear a snippet of what sounds like a voice but it's just my brain playing tricks on me, and it's always gibberish, it's not like I hear coherent words. Late night shifts, I could see that happening to others. Or they're just trying to be all spooky, who knows?

I have heard that dead bodies can make random noises from air being exhausted or released out of orifices hours after the person has been officially declared dead.

    true

There were reports from Eastern Europe during ww2 about the mass graves, that sounds were coming out of the ground for days and weeks after the events. Chemistry, nothing other worldly except the unspeakable tragedies.

When I was younger I could hear whole symphony orchestras playing, even singling out solo instruments. All done by new neurons firing right. no magic.

But if this universe did not make itself, with foresight, the one making it could set up settings, where normal physical entities could produce extraordinary situations. very odd though, when silence, inaction is the norm and is enough.

Paranormal spiritual activity is a figment of the human imagination until scientifically proven otherwise.

If people are hearing voices or seeing things which cant be proven through physical evidence, they are most likely suffering from a biological neurological disorder such as the symptoms of paranoid schizophrenia.

I have PTSD and in the days when i suffered with it badly i had flashbacks and saw things I can swear where real. Obviously I know they werent there. But even in my memory to this day it still seemed real. The mind is powerful and convincing.

When I was a teenager and not then a JW my peers had told me about tying a piece of cotton on a gold ring and holding it steadily suspended over a photo of someone who has died and it would start to rotate in a circle or swing like a pendulum.

    I cant remember which.

If you do the same thing with a gold ring tied with a piece of cotton suspended over the photo of a living person it will act opposite to what it does with a dead person either swing like a pendulum or rotate in a circle .

I did it once and it was true .

I have never tried it again

    Just saying.

    Believe it or not .

    I don`t really care.
