That picture from babystar appears as shown here in the 2015 yearbook.
I strongly suspect that if the leftmost guy really were Ray Franz, he would have been cropped out of the picture, Soviet style.
On the other hand, if the YB editors were lazy, they might not have recognized him and left him in. There are probably very few left at Bethel who personally knew Ray Franz. He was kicked out 35 years ago.

Apparently, if a photo that includes you is featured in any current publications, it means you have been forgiven and are now once again in good standing in the organization. The realization that he could be in a currently-included photo post-disfellowshipping and funeral will undoubtedly occasion a happifying joyousness when Ray is resurrected during the fast-approaching 1,000-year reign of Christ. A shame, though, no current publications feature a photo of Cynthia. Poor woman destined by GB-decree to be forever parted from her husband. This is part of the nonsense we once accepted as true.
