Last I read, you had to go back to hospital. How's it going with you?

Well Craig and Katie, how kind and thoughtful of you! Thank you for asking and I'm pleased to say that I'm on the road to recovery. Still not right and undergoing treatment but over the worst. I had a week of fever of 40 degrees and congestion and infection in the lungs. This caused great alarm because of a pre-existing condition, so the doctors were being very careful, hence the hospital attention. Ain't that nice ? I'm feeling very drained but still tapping away on these keys!

So what shall we reminisce about this weekend in a poll, eh?

Ozzie: Glad to hear you're on the mend. I got pneumonia when I was 18 and was in bed for 2 weeks; ever since then, when I get sick (rarely, thank goodness), it seems to go right into a chest infection.

Perhaps a poll on "What would you do if the elders unexpectedly visited you in the hospital?" would be a propos? Last month Lost Diamond (she lives down the street from Katie and me) posted that she was in hospital for a little while (she's doing fine now ), and a couple of JWs came by, very insistent on seeing her. She's not sure how they even knew they she was there, and suspects they had a not-so-hidden agenda. The charge nurse had to be rather blunt to get them to leave.

oz: yeah ffff COUGH! ...ffine unc.. just got my shunt debugged and the bugs jumped on the new one too.

me: whats a shunt?

oz: they put it in your head to make your brain work better ... COUGH!!!

me: oo i think i need one o' those.
