”Do you want to be destroyed at Armageddon???” was a well-worn phrase I heard growing up. Fortunately, my Dad mellowed out as he and I both got older.

…I always scratched my head over parents who tried to essentially beat righteousness into their kids and then were surprised the kids left “The Truth” the moment they were able.
I’d be like, “The fuck did you think was gonna happen?”
