The purpose of all this debating of unproven fluff is to make you read it, and read it again and again. Do You-all have not better things to do?

If Natural Selection is the driving force, why it doesn’t work with those with black skin who really want to have white skin? How long would it take for evolution from black skin to white skin? Thousands of years? Or rather tens thousands of years?

If natural selection is a natural process that results in the survival and reproductive success of individuals or groups best adjusted to their environment and that leads to the perpetuation of genetic qualities best suited to that particular environment, why then the alarm bell against fishes in the sea which the scientists say would not survive the climate change?

Finding fault with analogy is a convenient way of diverting the subject. That is an indirect way of agreeing to the spirit of OP. You are welcome.

I must remember these lines the next time I use an obstructive analogy. So much for basic teachings on the effective versus ineffective use of analogies. There is now no need to differentiate between the two.

If a reader has difficulty with your analogy, it's because they are 'conveniently trying to divert the subject'. On a par with elders accusing those who question what's in the literature as 'looking for an excuse to find fault and leave."

Venus has some old bedfellows there.

Not that you are even interested in a response to your questions...it is quite apparent that you are focused on calling out only certain posters but...the answer is:

About 3000 years or 150 generations

You believe only what your senses tell you to believe? Do you think that your senses are of any use without its substratum—the consciousness?

When you are not dreaming or hallucinating, your senses together with an un-deluded understanding of plain common sense will distinguish what is real from fantasyland and science fiction. Or you can just put things to a test with a big old sledgehammer. --You can believe what you like though but proof and self delusion should not be confused.

OC, how can that be?? You said 150 generations = 3000 years. Thats only 20 years per generation!!!!

Obviously ridiculous. Generations are at LEAST 80 or 90 years and they often overlap. You need to revisit your calculations

Hang on a sec ... are you really saying or implying that evolution didn't happen and that natural selection isn't its driving force because black people living in cold climates haven't become white yet?!

You know that black people have been living in cooler climates for only a few centuries max, right?

Please, Venus, do yourself a favour and either read Cofty's 'Evolution is a Fact' threads or get some decent evolution books aimed at the beginner.

Even the most simplest of living organisms contain a biological mechanism that can cause it to change and adapt and to pass on its traits to its descendants, but this should not be confused with the theory of human evolution which purports to show that human beings evolved from (a) non-human specie(s) into the races of mankind walking the earth at this time.
